I like this. While I enjoy Tryhard Thursdays it did get a bit repetitive just seeing the same 10 odd gods in rotation. My favourite videos from you are when you do wacky/meme/unorthodox builds. Look forward to seeing more of these!
I basically watch only his guardian/meme/crit/attackspeed/defense videos. The memes + personality is peak content and why people watch him I think

I'm a long time sub and the main thing that catches my eye to watch a video is usually if I'm interested in which gods you're playing. The tryhard gods and bad gods can both be really intriguing as long as there's interesting variety. For example I clicked this one because I saw changé and never get to see you play her. I wouldn't say replace try hard at all I like the strong gods, but a bi weekly change or even once in a while will pull a lot of interest I feel

I like the idea, maybe as an OffMeta Monday where you highlight some of your less played gods and not unplayable stuff like Ganesha but more mid tier options that while not the op stuff, still have roles and game plans to win the game.
The spicy picks are always fun, but will definately miss normal try hard Thursdays if this replaces them.

I reallly enjoyed the breakdown after the changè game. What about a vid per week called Sam’s shares, where you just talk about things you’ve seen that week that concern you or caught your attention.
I think playing off gods and showing us good troll builds sounds like a great time!

Sam i just saw a crazy build from Fineokay that he got from mast, you should try. It would have to be joust or conquest but deaths toll fafnir with full cooldown is insane as deaths toll autos reduce cooldown

Seeing you smash people with "bad" gods. Is more entertaining than seeing you smash people with the usual meta op gods imo
just an fyi you can auto cancel with daji 1 and kind of with her 2. you auto attack, then as soon as the auto hits use her 1 and it's like 2 autos in 1 second
Yes! I personally think it's 10x more entertaining seeing you try hard with non-meta gods! You could choose the gods completely randomly or even just play gods you find fun
I think it's safe to say we all wanna see khepri, I wanna see someone cook up a viable build for him, there are lots of items he can abuse, khepri needs to be revisited. Especially since you can dive towers as long as you get a kill with his ult and you should live now with the changes to duel.

hey sam fenrir player here,. I just want to correct you. when fenrir ult with 5 runes he used to get 2x defence but they change it like 2y ago ? and now it's 20 to 60 depending on the level, it's good is you are playing full damage but less valuable when you play tank
That's a bummer, the 2x defense would have been amazing with full defense glad shield and axe upgrade that scale with defense. I think they should revert. Fenrir should be nearly invincible in his ult, it's single target, and with the damage now he should still be able to go deep without dying instantly. You got gods like daji that can pull multiples from a distance and it's heavily telegraphed for the team to follow up. Fenrir is not overpowered at all, he's too easy to outplay. I'd like to see him reworked so he can use all his abilities in giant form with some sort of change, his 1 could be a giant circle stun, his 3 could be aoe vortex.

I think this would be a great like, filler for Tryhard thursday. Maybe say you have 3-4 tryhard thursdays a month, make one of them this, or maybe half of them this one where you alternate. That way you get Tryhard thursday to blow off some steam, and then these ones let you lay back adn focus more on the different god choices. This also opens up more vareity, and honestly works for everyone if they're equally popular AND you enjoying doing them. Definitely could be called Troll Thursday.

Honestly it would be cool to alternate them. 1 week trying, 1 week not trying. I search for your vids by god often and some stuff you havent played on vid for like a year +, would be really cool to see those gods in something like this.
To me, the important aspect of Tryhard Thursdays was the mentality - not the god.
You make the other videos where you try out weird/unconventional builds and play just for fun. if you lose you lose, and thats fine...
But ThT it's about trying to win and crush the enemy - you are our OP anime Protagonist
Okay hear me out Sam. I know this is gonna be a lot more effort for you and Shiv, but I have an idea.
What if you keep doing TILT on Tuesdays, and Tryhard Thursdays, and you add Minimum Effort Mondays (where you just play characters like you did today). I know that's another hour long, longform video which obviously is a lot of work, but just an idea cause I'd love to see even more content!
But if that's too hard to do, then might I suggest doing Tryhard Thursday and Don't Try Thursdays rotating every second week, to change it up a bit :)

i think what Sam is trying to say whit hes opportunity stuff is, be crafty and use demm brain power in PvP! games like Smite/OW/CS and similiar where you play many minutes against same people in well knew location benefits from it, you can maybe regonize who is on bad spot all the time etc and adept.
Agree. I lowkey wish there were more losses posted. Maybe ur the best and u never lose… but it’s more fun to see the random picks, rather than top tier imo.
Duel meta is still as unchanging as it ever was, so i don’t mind it at all, wether you choose to do one when you want to take a break from the other or switch to just the new gimmick ill keep watching 👏

Why don't you try duel coaching? You're very knowledgeable of the game, and have a way of presenting information in a fun way! You could either have someone play while you spectate them and give them live commentary, or have people send you games and you review them! Just a thought.
Why not mix trying hard while meme building to make it more fun? I don't speak for everyone but I think AA Athena slapping a tyr would have been awesome

Trollhard Thursday - Playing tryhard but with "troll" (non-meta) picks.
What if instead of doing one or the other you do half the video as none try hard and the other half as try hard. Maybe 2 and 2, if you have time for a 5th match you can add in a recommendation or even a meme build. The main reason i love watching tryhard Thursdays is mainly bc how long the videos are and the fact that you are just winning them.
