I own a raptor 350 and have rode it since 2004. I have two uncles that have ltz400s. The ltz400 is a decent amount faster than the 350 but if you are aggressive enough of a rider on the 350, you can keep up easily. The 350 is a little more narrow and much lighter which makes it better on trails. If all your care about is going faster in a straight line, get the 400. If you want a good all around bike, get the 350.
I haven’t tried a ltz400 but I’ve got a raptor 350, bought it pretty cheap in decent condition gave it TLC and it’s been very reliable also great soft suspension on mine I’ve ridden a few friends quads and they ride nothing like the raptor. On power it’ll get up and go for it’s size and it’s pretty lightweight
That raptor is clean for 2013. I have a 2005 that sat for 12 years in a garage so it looks almost new but not as new as yours.

If you do the right thing yes it will give it a slight power increase and it will make it sound better

My dad had an ltz 400 and to be honest the yamaha raptor 350 feels the around the same. I think the raptor would beat the ltz 400
