Reviving a dead thread. :) As others mentioned, you have to prime the figures before painting. As far as I know, you have to prime figures for Citadel Contrast, Army Painter Speedpaints, or the upcoming Vallejo Express paints to work. Survivors Nerf: The only Survivors that receive the +1 Armor token are Unique units. No one else receives one. The token is spent when they get hit by an attack, so it's only good for 1 HP. Hopefully they'll change that in the future and give them something better as a faction rule.
Your settlers shot about as well as my Chosen One does in Fallout 1. One hit, and the mouse dies! Annnnd, I miss. Ugh. Awesome stuff! I'm pretty sure 7+ is 1 extra black die, and that you only lose your strong armor if you use it.
Funny you express having issues with contrast paints and these minis. I specifically used one of the blues to paint Nate and Nora's vault suits without issue. But then I don't use the gw sprays. Maybe that makes the difference with these?
Like it. Good report on how settlement works. Helped get my head round it. I have this and a lot of the terrain …question tho….the resin red rocket itself…nightmare to glue in? Mine might have to be a wrecked one.
@@FliksTabletopGaming aye…either option is a pain. I’m going to have to reinforce the tops of my “girders” with super glue as they have frayed due to my frustration…battle systems could maybe have done a 2d punch out one. Small gripe otherwise the set is ace.
Recently purchased this game, not yet played it. Never played the video game.. bit of honesty here, My son loves this game and I want to spend time with him Ok so I am familiar with fire arms. Not the game Shoot your 9mm at a swarm of bugs even large eradiated bugs seems odd I’m guessing it works in video game so it is viable here Please help me understand
Not sure what you’re asking? Yes you shoot guns at the enemies in the video game. As for the tabletop game it comes with the rules to understand combat. There are numerous Fallout game playthroughs on my gaming channel also.
I forgot how much I like this game. I can't wait to see more of this campaign and to see the Settlement mode in action!
Same here. I’m definitely having a ”fallout phase” again
Every couple years the fallout memes all come back, and then people start playing again lol.
Had no idea Fallout had a war game like this!

So glad you have started playing this again, looking forward to Ep2.
So glad to see Fallout back on the channel!!!
Super hyped to see more FWW content from you!
Do you prime your minis? If you prime them the resin will have no impact on contrast paint. If you do I would suggest changing your primer
Oh hell yes how did I not catch this sooner
Yes! Fallout! Love the terrain pieces.😁🤘👍
Hooray, glad to see you playing this again.
Awesome video! CAn’t wait to watch the rest. I’m hooked.
Great video, FWW is a fun game and settlement mode is cool. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series👍🏻
Great video buddy, top game play!!
Great vid!
Great video, you have got a subscribe!
I hope the settlers realise that their lives are forfeit if they fail to protect Dogmeat.
Got this game just before Covid lockdowns.... never got to play it
It does have a single player mode.

It isn’t glued in it’s just balanced and it is a pain yeah.

Thanks for the nerd content. I've just always wondered, why it isn't viable to just hopscotch the radroach swarm as an attack.
where did you get this terrain?
As in the Red Rocket station? It is official scenery available for the game.

In this context the roaches are about the size of small dogs. Like a corgi
absolutely indecipherable game mechanics with those custom dice..... enjoy your pace and presentation though. hope you find some better games to do !
