Looked up the "meaning of this song," and got mostly websites talking about alcohol. While I think it is about wine to some extent, it does also seem to be about the perfect middle ground of relationships. Everything needs to be in balance, not too much and not too little. I don't see why it can't be about both :)
I thought it was about bisexuality / a nonconforming gender identity lol. about not choosing red or white but something "right in between". but I think there are many valid interpretations :)

The Feeling's version is less emotionally engaging than Dominic Burn's version, as performed on Chris Moyle's parody album.
Dominic's version has greater depth of story and his performance, ironically, has more feeling. Both good versions and a massive thank you to the Feeling for writing the song so it could be the basis of a parody, but Dom's is the one I choose to listen to.
