I spent 4 years in the Marines, another 8 years stumbling around trying different civilian career pathways. Never had a problem finding success, never felt more satisfied than working dedicated HVAC the last couple years. Love this trade 💪💪💪
Sometimes financial success isn’t enough. HVAC makes us feel fulfilled. We are providing a service not many can provide but EVERYONE needs. Thank you for your service and happy you landed in HVAC 🤙🏽
Similar here bro. Did 3 in Army, did about 3 years in the security field. Used GI Bill for the HVAC program at the local college and got in the trade. Made a good choice but the best thing for me was going from resi to commercial. Love this career field.
I agree Had a service call today on a roof top unit I had to walk 5 flights of stairs because elevator wasn't working Found a leak on compressor discharge line Had to carry everything I needed up the stairs and back down with everything after i was done. On a 100 degree day. I am burnt
And all because the elevator wasn’t working… but you still gotta do your job! First of all good job 👍🏽 and second of all that’s the WORST part about commercial is lugging everything up to the roof and then back down..
Since June 1st installed 4 ductless so far. And yes when you're on your own it's stressful, demanding, sometimes dangerous , but in all honesty rather be alone and dealing with my shit then dealing with others shit issues. Pretty much back to basics. On my own again. Finding ppl that actually wanna work and do it right it's so damn tough
@@ShortyHVAC the heat also makes it 10x more difficult. I did an evaporator coil swap and with this heat wave, it took me way longer than I expected. I drank so much bottled water but never had to use the restroom the whole day as my body was sweating it out. 😂
