This was a very good movie. Beside the expedient scenes the story line was good. In all fairness Bella should have told Chiki about her phobia early on so he could decide if he still wanted to marry her or not. The fact that she kept him in the dark and was mad because someone was getting close was ludicrous. I’m glad Chiki was the man he was and was faithful to his wife even when he was in the dark, but it still wasn’t fair to him, but I’m glad it all worked out in the end. Bella had a good friend\counselor to help her through her trauma. My prayers go out to anyone who has experienced anything like Bella and Chiki did at an early age. May the Almighty Creator bring healing to all those who have suffered at the hands of others.
I have sort of become addicted to these Nollywood movies over the last year or so and one thing I’ve noticed is that in many of them the whole storyline is based off of something that could’ve been told a lot earlier to prevent confusion. I don’t know any men that would have been as patient and waited through an engagement, a wedding night and months into a marriage without sex or an explanation, especially when being fed a constant diet of lie after lie. I would’ve demanded a valid explanation or a divorce. Could have been so much easier had she only been honest. I truly thought the secret she was about to tell her friend was that she had contracted HIV. Very entertaining movie anyway
