This area certainly came to life in the evening. Spectacular views of the Burj. I thought the fountains in Las Vegas were great but with the backdrop these were amazing. And an unbelievable laser show to end your night with. I can understand why the crowds gathered for that. Looking forward to seeing more of what Dubai has to offer.
That light show was actually a replay of the new year's show. They do it every 8:30pm. At 9:30pm they also play the theme from Mission Impossible with lasers.

the laser and light show was a replay for what happened on the NYE celebrations but without fireworks for sure i was there that night and it was the best fireworks display I've ever seen so far in fact the burj khalifa fireworks are the largest and most famous globally

If your going back to watch the fountains i would definitely recommend Joes Cafe. Its on the second level of the mall and if you pick terrace view you can sit and watch the foutain show from above and enjoy a nice meal 😊

People come out out at night because it’s too dang hot in the day 😂
I was expecting Arabian themed shows, music and architecture but its all very westernised over there, i guess to appeal to us to visit. But would love an authentic Arabian style tourist city.

Would be a bit annoying having a flat in that building with that racket every 30mins
I doubt you would hear it inside with the soundproofing
