I just love how he basically moms every single one of these creatures. âDonât take that tone with meâ I love it
Wait. He spoke to a snake. Parselmouth, maybe?
@@saj2392 ub
@@saj2392 no. He just recognises the sounds that the animals make. The little Runespoor head wearing the muzzle hissed at him in an angry way (because it disliked wearing the muzzle).
When you work with animals long enough, you tend to learn a lot about them and also learn to recognise the various sounds they make and what each sound tends to mean.
@@saj2392 it is possible to learn Parseltongue even if you yourself are not a Natural Parselmouth, Dumbledore did it and Newt was his favorite student so itâs not unbelievable that he did to (it actually makes sense that he would given his line of work).
@@lonestarwolfentertainment7184 So true. I bet Newt knows and can speak given he's working with a three headed đ and understands the baby's tone.
Why would they delete any of these scenes? The entire movie is named after these beasts, for god's sake.
Because they're moron. . . The truth is movie length is one of the requirements so they cut some of the scene or shorten the movie
It a must.
Mr. Mitsquared
Why shorten a movie though? Whatâs so bad about going past the time anyways? It just adds more content for the audience to enjoy
I'm guessing that it was because the scene couldnt be animated well.in time, this was a fascinanting beast and seeing that they have more movies they decided to use it in the future.
@@couragew6260 Dunno. It's the politics. If your movie is rated as one type or another, it HAS to fit into the criteria demanded. 1h40min max, 1h10min max, 2h max and so on. This is nothing new, we're just getting more aware of it nowadays but it's been going on since a few decades now.
Only Newt can make people feel safe while walking among those gigantic (or venomous) creatures...
CÆĄ Huyá»n *venomous
@@femmefuntime Thanks! Fixed
He used to say "To worry is to suffer twice" :))
CÆĄ Huyá»n or gigantic AND venomous đ
I don't think Ashwinders are venomous it's been awhile since I looked it up, and I certainly don't remember it saying the grew to be that big.
See, this is why people didn't automatically think Slytherin's monster was a basilisk. There's a ton of other super-large serpents in the magic world. Probably would've been nice if Harry only had to deal with a runespoor instead of a basilisk
With no bite marks present on any of the victims, it would've been easier to narrow down which serpents could petrify via known abilities.
While true, for some reason the the teachers thought it must be a person petrifying people. Remember, they were also the ones who thought this whole Chamber of Secrets thing was a myth. Plus basilisks were rare enough that a full account of their abilities was unknown. The textbooks only talk about how a something dies when it looks into its eyes, and I doubt anyone was willing to put to the test whether looking at a basilisk indirectly was going to petrify them rather than kill them
"Only had to deal with a runespoor."
Seriously i would rather fight a basilisk than a runespoor.
Because in terms of size, the runespoor loos a big deal bigger than a basilisk. Plus it has 3 fucking heads!
Well Runespoors are classified under basilisks in terms of danger level, with Runespoors being marked XXXX(highly dangerous) as opposed to XXXXX(extremely dangerous) like the Basilisk. Besides, from what it sounds like in the book, Runespoors seem a bit more conversational than basilisks, with Basilisk's main topic of choice being "kill...murder...eat" while runespoors actually tell Parselmouths what each head does. Also on that note it's usually only the right head that is violent, so you'd only really need to watch out for that one.
Especially considering the one with the cone on one of its head is a normal sized adult and the huge one is actually not normal. They typically only grow up to around 8 feet
I like how he just brushes his shoulder when the tongue flicks him. Itâs like he thought the smaller one did it and he felt relatively okay being near that one since newt told it off like a parent with âdonât take that tone with meâ and doesnât notice that the MUCH BIGGER RUNESPORE appeared out of the shadows behind him.
most likely the movie would have been to long
For a deleted scene that must've cost a bit to create it in post production
joeking88 i think they stopped post-production thingy on some deleted scenes and later on finishes the selected best for the blu-ray/dvd release.
Yeeeep. My colleagues worked like...a whole summer on this! It's too bad it got cut :S
sure they did.
That is genuinely really cool. Wish I was that talented to work on something like this.
joeking88 11 months but its not about talent. Its about exerting more than minimal effort instead of hoping it gets easier. That is a mindset reserved for failures.
Nothing in there is dangerous he said
He has a FREAKING NUNDU in there, the most dangerous magical creature in the world, but the film version is a sweet kitty.
Well, Newt probably have a really deep relationship with them. if they are anything like our animals, they can sense if a human means harm or not and if Newt has shown nothing but kindness I'm pretty sure they don't see him or anyone he brings in there as a threat :3
Isn't that part of Newts abilities though? He calms and soothes and takes care of these animals and they love him for that
+L it's like Hagrid's relationship with Aragog and Fluffy he gave them nothing but kindness and respect and no harm came to him Newt having the relationship with something as dangerous as nundu erumpent and that Runespoor with no harm coming to him is likely due to rearing them from young ages or helping them recover from injuries from poachers plus he's the mother of 5 Occamy he can handle a big noxious breath breeding pussy cat
Hagrid says the same thing about dragons
did Newt just talk to a snake??? do you guys know what I'm getting at?
he means that he can talk to snakes like some villans of the series... he can't, he can just understand then
Actually you can learn to understand parselmouth, but not to speak it, if I remember it correctly.
but didnÂŽt Ron copy Harrys parsel for "open" to get out of the chamber (in the books).......iÂŽm not entirely sure but i thought there was something like that
back to Newt: i also donÂŽt think he spoke parselmouth....you propably would have heard that or get a weird reaction from the other guy
Vinsch2510 Ron only copied the sound of one word to trickthe chamber, he didn't speak parsel. You have to be born a parselspeaker.
Did you hear him say Sigh-ya-hath-see-heth?
_oh my god_ isn't this the creature Newt compared Tina to?? Being the middle head, the dreamer? Now I wish they would've let this scene in the movie because it would make it easier for people to understand the scene from FB 2.
wasn't that a salamander? I'm not sure though..
@@imagine_sofia He compared her eyes to a salamander, but he also told her she's a "middle head" at some other point, and explained that this is the head of the Runespoor which is "the dreamer"
@@soulcatcher_pajome ahh thank you, I didn't know that :)
your right
Apparently Runespoors grow to be a lot bigger than I thought.
Kitty Wood the small one is an adult. The big one is just abnormally large.
Saaaame
Yeah! Ive a picture in the official "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them"-book and its just a normaly sized three headed snake living in India and the far east...
They're between 1,80m and 2,10m
This is a fantasy world, this one could just be unique.
I really wish this hadn't been deleted, it's such a great scene! I love the Runespoors. I'm assuming the small one is still a "baby" and the GIANT one is maybe about as big as an adult can get. So cool! I wish I had one!XD
Uh huh
Runespoors' have 6 heads, 3 on each end
If Jacob was alone they wouldve attacked him, but they trust newt so they trust anyone who is with him. Newt is too precious for this world
Agreed, I could honestly watch these two handle these fantastical creatures for an hour and a half, Newtâs such a wonderful character and Jacobâs the perfect companion for someone like him, the two play off each other perfectly.
WHY WAS THIS DELETED!? THIS IS AN AWESOME CREATURE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!
If child watch this they will scare.
3 points Slytherin
lol
6 if you counted the little ones
Newt was a huffelpuff
50000000 points Hufflepuff
@@lunarcross9042 3 snakes, 6 if you count the small ones. Snakes are the slytheryn symbol, hence 3 or 6 points to slytheryn. It's a joke.
Who think the snakes are cute or is it just me?
No, it's not just you. I own multiple Snakes.
They look like Bush vipers, one of my favorite snakes because of how gorgeous and artistic they look.
You're not alone
Me đ
Just you. Haha
I think the fact that they cut more fully rendered fantastic beasts out of the fantastic beasts movie but had a whole Grindelwald, anti-wizard plot is the exact issue with these movies... wonderful scene
Watching this for the first time, my thought process as he's talking to the baby was as follows...... "haha cool three headed snake..... ok wait I get the thunderbird has to fly so needs all of that space but damn this cave is massive why does this animal need all th.... Ooooohhh ok O.o".
RQBassist that's actually not a baby. Its a fully grown adult. The big one is just unusually large.
Agreed. Newt created the environments in his magizoo for all the animals that need protection.
@@Beowulf0510 what...
@@luxurgaming9746 from what I understand, the heads of the runespoor often fight each other hence why that one head had a cone on it. So then the often don't live that long of a life. My theory is that that one is unusually long lived by normal standards and as such more time to grow. Or mabye magic creatures can also get mutations like other creatures.
Its not an entirely new creature! It has been there for years!
It's in his 2001 fantastic beast paperback book.
I think its new to the movie though, cause it wasn't shown in the released movie.
Stephenie Bowen they did say deleted scene. I know it's annoying
Yeah I know it said deleted scene
cones of shame
He does not like the cone of shame
Cone of sssssssshhhhame
That cone is a lot more necessary than you might think!
Runespoors have a nasty tendency to bite their own heads off as infants, which, unfortunately, often ends with them dying of that injury. This is the main reason why most Runespoors never reach adulthood. However, if they get old enough, they eventually wisen up and realize what that actually means. Meaning that the adult displayed there is a lot more intelligent than you realize.
... and that Newt was in the complete right to put that cone on!
I've watched this like 10 times now, half for the giant snake and the humor, half for newt with his sleeves rolled up and being adorable
"Don't take that tone with me."
I love when people talk to their animals
I love how newt scolds it like a child
I love Runespoor, it's my patronus in Pottermore
same fam
Shit... and here I got a fricken magpie!? A bird that can imitate any sound, and you get a three-headed snake!? Is there no justice in the world!?
i just try that pottermore thing and i got Occamy omg
why do ya'll have badass beasts and i got a crow
Thays actually pretty rare. Mines a dragon though.
did Newt actually understood what that snake's head said? man if he did it's freaking awesome! although he could just be referring to it's mood, like when we talk with our pets :D
I didn't know a runespoor could grow so big.I always thought that they just little 3 headed snakes
Awww, the cone of shame is hilarious!!!
like the parent, like the child. the middle head of the little one had the cone. the middle head of the bigger one tried to eat kowalski.
middle head: hmmm, tasty.
left head: (nudging) knock it off!
right head: what's the matter with you?
look again, it was the right head the one that had the cone of shame.
@Javsco middle head basically
I wonder if the runespoor had a Kevin like king Ghidorah
It had the cone because the runespor has the habit to eat the other heads, that information is in the book of Fantastic Animals and Where to Find Them (sorry if my English is bad, i'm from Ecuador)
Omg awesome scene, why was it changed?? Shows further bonding between Jacob and Newt, and Jacob's fascination with these creatures. I love this scene! â€â€â€
Elizabeth Walter Seems unrealistic that Jacob didn't notice three giant snakes behind him. I think that's why but not sure
Probably took too much time. It's why they deleted the Ilvermorny song too.
Well personally the scene wasn't believable enough. It was too obviously done on a green screen. iT wasn't as seamless as the others.
Jk Rowling said in behind the scenes that Newt was not that great of a wizard for there to be such a complex world.
Love how the heads have personalities too. The one in the middle going in for a taste and the right head telling em to stop.
Damn, that is one BIG Runespoor.
I like how newt was shy to see straight into someone eyes when they are talking.. and how he love his pet.. đœâ„ïž
Head 1: just a taste?
Head 2: No!
This is what I love about the movie fbawtft, I hope the next movies will focus on the actual magical creatures, instead of the main focus being the wizarding war and fighting Grindlewald like the makers have hinted it would, maybe Grindlewald well want to recruit the beasts or something...
Limerence the main focus of the films on the first wizarding war
Noortje De Beer Lets hope they'll find a more accurate name for the sequels than!
Limerence well that is something i was wondering about like how the hell are they going to implement the beasts in there without it being forced
Noortje De Beer Let's hope they won't ruin the franchise, so many movies have been ruined by their sequels
Limerence well with four sequels on the way i think there is room for a lot of ruining but also for a lot of awesomeness we'll just have to wait and see
And the minute I turned around and saw that...next reaction is "Yep and we're done here!!" . A Looney Toons puff of smoke and I would be out-a-there.
That is in the actual Fantastic Beasts book! The three headed snake some witches and wizards have, like many parseltongues, but never knew they could grow to that size. I need to research that book again.
I can imagine the middle snake with the cone is just an angsty teen with Newt XD
Just had a quick speed read on Runespoors the reason the right head is wearing the cone of shame is because only the right head's fangs are poisonous and each head has a distinct personality the middle is the strategist the left the dreamer the right the aggressive one and some Runespoors have only been scene with 2 heads as sometimes 2 heads will gang up on another if it doesn't listen to or cooperate
Wish we could've seen more of the beasts in the movie. hopefully in the next one?!?!
Okay, I'd love to know why this was not left in. But damn, just wow.
I want a tiny version of the massive snake for a pet. I love snakes. And that thing looks beautiful! I would love it!
Itâs not bad when theyâre small, but when the Runespoor is the size of a cave. Itâs a wonder Kowalski didnât look behind him and start running like hell.
Why was this scene deleted? It was so beautiful to see the snake come out
If childrens watch this they will scare.
Is Jacob the most happiest person on earth? Heâs not even a wizard, but he can see and also experience everything with Newt.
The runespoor looks f*ing terrifying.. And it's venomous too, would like to see it in action in a future movie
the right head is at least
It's called a roonspoor, each head has a different personality and the head in the middle is the most critical of the other two, which is why lots of roonspoor will Often be found with the middle head torn off. It's also my patronus! :-D
Paulie Jaramillo what are the left and right head's personality?
Paulie Jaramillo The left head makes the decision the middle is the dreamer and thr right is the critical one , which is why itâs sometimes gone , its also my patronus
The right one is the critic also the one with the cone on shown here.
Paulie Jaramillo
Runespoor*
Just like king ghidora
I was jumping for joy and screaming when *fantastic beasts and where to find them 2* came out
Those snakes look incredible, really beautiful
or... a Hydra.
Good thing that one didn't escape.
Runespoor....hydra has a legs, runespoor is full snake
Cut Off One Head... Two More Shall Take its Place!
@@CVargas202 Hail Hydra
Proud to have runespoor as a patronus!
The way he swats the tongue like it's a fly lol!!
Omg, those are adorable the tiny snakes and then those super large ones ate just too cute.
Ha funny how Kowalski didn't look behind him to see the larger hydra. He assumed it was the smaller one messing with him lol.
Beautiful and they're based off of bush vipers
0:50
Runespoor Head 1 : Master has new friend?
Runespoor Head 2 : Smells good. I eats!
Runespoor Head 3 : *Bump Nudge* Nu can has.
Runespoor Head 2: *Hisses*
Runespoor Head 1: *Larf*
That Giant Red snake reminds me of Yamata no Orochi, even not Knowing its design, but it reminded me!
my patronus is a runespoor
I come to see my patronus of wizarding world ' site quest . So happy now ! â€ïž
GIVE BACK MY CASE! EVERYTHING IN THERE IS DANGEROUS!
Why the fuck you liein? Why you always liein?StOp FuCkIn LiEiN. Lol
I wish I had his job, taking care of mysterious and fantastic creatures must be amazing.
... It'd be great, until you get bitten by a six headed groblitch, 417 times in a row, because you gave them a male rabbit instead of a female one. :3
But yeah, as long as it'd be a "safe" work environment, it'd love the job. ^^
***** what's a groblitch?
Is 3 head snake.
That one snake going to bite Jacob and the others are like "hey! Mum said no!"
A giant 3 headed Bush Viper, love it
I want one, that is so cute.
Amberfreya what's better than 1 snake well.
One snake with 3 heads and there soooooo cutteeee
They should add these scenes to an extended version.
I want that giant snake thing.
Damn, I thought those things were only meant to reach about 6ft O_O
I need one of those now for my Vivarium!!!
Cool that they put a "reference" to this scene il the second film
I never knew about this until now lol and it's very exciting with the news about the sequel and all
If he turned around and noticed the giant snake behind him, how would he react?
He must not look back what was behind đŹđŹđŹ
Hey look my patronus is in a movie!đ
So thatâs what Newt was referring to when he told Tina that sheâd gone âmiddle headâ in the next movie
WHO IS PART OF THE RUNESPOOR PATRONUS CLUB
When Jacob said he didn't like snakes all I'm thinking is do not turn around then cause there a massive one behind u
U can see the small middle snake likes to bite. And in the large middle snake u can see its trying to bite the guy but got push away by the other head telling the middle head to stop. shows that this creature the middle one is always the rebel. Good touch
iâm glad i got to see my patronus in a deleted scene
I love this scene so much it's about to bite his damn head off before he says it's fascinatingđđđ
Also how he casually brushes away the tongue flicks lol
I never thought Runespoors could get that big!
Okay petition for all complete deleted scenes added to like a directors cut or something
That's not quite how I imagined a runaspoor would look but now I don't think I'll be able to see it any other way from now on
That would be terrifying to come across in a dark alley
Lmaooo the big snakes opened their mouths after examining Jacob and was about to chomp down on him then they shook their head like 'nahh better not."
Imagine you work in the post production, spending weeks on that scene, just to figure out that it has been deleted...
Runespoor that was my patronus when I took the test
aww...the middle one is wearing a cone!!
The Dr. Doolittle of the wizarding world.
The runespoor is referred in the second film when Newt said Tina is the middle head :-D
Nearly had a "to be continued" meme there
that is a runespoor, the runespoor itâs a magical three headed snake
i never knew it could grow THAT big
Iâm not gonna say it...
I wasn't aware Taylor Swift had a cameo on the movie.
LMAO...
nice one...
#BARTBAKER heres one new one for you...
Daaaaaamn! Haha shots fired!
What does Newt say at 0:42? "Don't take that tone with me..."
"don't take that tone with me, you know exactly why you're wearing it, you stop bitting the others and it'll come off"
he's talking with the creature wearing a cone
the cone of shame, even snakes can wear it.
Thaaaanks!!! I heard about 10 times but couldn't understand.
That would make Newt a Parselmouth đ°đ°đ°
I don't think so, he talks to his other creatures like people talk to their own pet dogs and cats.
Oh look it's the Basilisk's 3 headed more lovable cousin lol
0:50 Fluffy evolved.
Their beautiful!! what an amazing creature
No wonder it was deleted. The Basilisk wouldn't be that impressive otherwise
I didn't watch this movie but the Runespoor looks great. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for snakes.
That's how big a Runespoor is! Good lord!
I cant Believe they standing so close this creatures even if they are dangerous
This creature is so beautiful
