Nick is really a great addition to their casual format as he anchors the cast from flying away too far.
I am positive that the cast make for more emails and phone calls with sales then Nick would like but overall CBS must benefit greatly from the exposure James and company create each night.
Nick is like the balance in a comedy movie, the balance that makes the comedy even “comedy-er”. Since he’s come to the foreground, he can no longer return to the background. I want a pair of those “athleseur wear” pants from the gap now, and I’ve never shopped at the gap before in my life!
This show version deserves an Emmy, nay an Oscar, nay a Tony, nay a Noble Peace Prize.

First he paid for the salary of crew members instead getting furloughed, then a free cruise vacation, now free apparels!

James paid all of the crew's salary that supposedly gonna be furloughed by the network during the lockdown. One of the reasons why I truly enjoyed this format, because it turns out there literally mates enjoying their life.

I don't know if this gets read by someone from the show, but I personally love this version of the relaxed new vibe of the show tbh. The bantering and the improvisation just makes it more endearing and I geniunely laugh out loud most of the time. For the last few weeks, I actually look forward to this segment along with the Closer Look from Seth Myers.

He won me over completely this week with his comment "I didn't ask for any of this!" 🤣 It's now a challenge for them to annoy him more and more each episode. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE BACK! Loved the old show but this is so good. I got Covid early last March while the president knew it was in the air but was lying to us. I have had long haul symptoms and some times the only thing that kept me happy and laughing was Late Late. Thank you for making me feel like I was just watching people chat it up in my apartment. I couldn't have done it without you.
