What a beautiful bike, my Suzuki GS550E celebrated her 40th 4 years ago and next year my Suzuki GSX750R will be celebrating her 40th. Long live historic motorcycles and all who ride on them.👍❤

Nice bike, i like the spare clutch cable hanging over the headlight, i keep mine under the seat, but i wrap the ends with insulating tape now after one caught fire as i pulled into a petrol station because it shorted on the battery.

I've kept one wrapped there ever since one went on the way to the Kent Custom Show one year. At the entrance to the Dartford Tunnel, in the rush hour! My mate had to help me bump start it through London all the way to our mates house in Tunbridge Wells.

      @@triumphrider572 I know that feeling
Riding my bonnie with a snapped clutch cable

The late model T140s were the best version of Triumph. It had disk brakes that worked fore and aft, 5 speed trans and, the the later models, electronic ignition.

Love it!! I still ride my 1992 Harley Softail that I bought new 32 years ago. I'll bet we both make good husbands, lol!

Initially I speculated this was somewhere in America until I saw the post covered in ‘Do Not’ signs. Collectively they say ‘Do not enjoy yourselves, Prols’.
I really envy the yanks being allowed to ride in thousands of acres of wilderness. Here you have to fight over your right to pass over a green lane.

Yes, you're quite right mate. Our country has gone to hell in a handcart, for several reasons we all know about. What the yanks have that we don't is space.

@@triumphrider572…and Australia too, loads of space but 1/14th of US population. So many great rides here. Never had a T140, but had a T110, several T120s including T120RV, and a T150. Also loved my 650ss featherbed and 750 Fastback
