Back in 1979, yeah I'm old okay, we had a sprout farm operation and modified MANY things to fit our operation. One was a bubbler we called our sprout Jacuzzi. We spun dried sprouts in Maytags, only Maytags because of how they spun. Being stainless steel inside we just bleached them every so often. We directly placed sprouts and micro greens straight into the tubs. Scooping them from Jacuzzi to washer we used fryer baskets into Rubbermaid totes with holes drilled into the bottom. One more step then yours but maybe easier on employees lifting such a heavy basket. FUN TIMES!!HARD WORK in tight location.
A 3D PRINTING (plastic & metal) COURSE WOULD HELP A LOT!
A great man remains a great man, no matter what he touches and wherever it is found himself.
Well done!
The brains of people like you never stop innovating!
that is amazing!
Where do you get those wash baskets? Are they ones that fit in the manual spinner?
very nice operation!
Hi michael.. i'm guessing you must have done a bit of a modification on the washer to accept that basket to spin inside> Curious how you went about that?
@@ThrivingFarmerPodcast You are brilliant!!!
Love the Idea! A great help would be a link on where to buy or what you look for on those spinner baskets! otherwise it's a video that's interesting but frustrating.
dry-your-greens.thinkific.com Lisa we did a course on it!!

What is that PVC pipe in the center of the greens tank?
We had a similar set up a the sprout farm. We called it a Jacuzzi!
Where do you buy these baskets?
They're the inside basket of one o' these: www.johnnyseeds.com/tools-supplies/post-harvest/salad-spinners/dynamic-salad-spinner-2.5-gal.-9880.html. For that price($200), I'd sooner get the course to make your own here:

I like the diy salad spinners using the Home Depot buckets better than this one
of remind me to rewash any produce bought in stores or produced by people other than yourself.
