- Big boys are coming in to town. Today we welcome Wrexham to Glanford Park. Last time we played in a league game at GP, was back in 2002. That game ended 1-1. A lot has changed since then for both teams. Now it’s a non league fixture. Wrexham pushing to get out, with wealthy backers and a Hollywood dream. Us just hoping to survive and stay in the league, hoping our dream doesn’t turn in to anymore of a nightmare.
Anyway on the night this time round, we lost 3-1. Wrexham a lot more clinical and easy on the eye. Just knew where players were to pass to, little lay offs. Running on and off the ball. Definitely the best side to grace GP this season, we still have other big hitters to visit.
We had our moments too, great spell of pressure in the second half which we just couldn’t capitalise on. Anyway they go top of the league and we stay in the relegation zone.
Next up we have Maidstone at home. A team below us and a match we really need to be taking 3 points from.

Great video. I'm originally from Wrexham but I lived in Humberside for many years so I listened to the Radio Humberside commentary for a slightly opposite partisan view. Was fun. I was amused by your player who I thought was called 'Giro'.😂

Good video. Your season won't be defined by games against the likes of Wrexham- if you can build off the good results you've had lately then you can get away from the bottom 4. You score goals which always gives you s chance. The National League is a tough one and as Stockport and York found out its no respected of former league status! Good luck for the rest of the season. Also hope you get sold sooner rather than later as that is when you can really turn things around.
Very true, will be defined by the results of those around us. Starting with Maidstone on Saturday. I said at the end of last season, I'd be happy not to drop again with everything thats happening behind the scenes. Plenty of us hoping for a sale soon, as always rumours flying left, right and centre. Cheers and good luck with your season too.

Yes, i'd like to think we have more of a chance on Saturday. Time will definitely tell, especially around 16.50. We just have to go into it, believing we can get the points and put that belief in to practice UTI
Clare used to go to my school, High Ridge Comprehensive from 1985 to 1990. It was great seeing her with her husband before the match

He came on latish 2nd half. Didn’t really have any chances. Looked fitter though, which is good .
