I was 5 when we moved from binbrook to waddington in 88 but I can still remember a lot of camp from visiting my dad in MT. we lived on Canberra crescent and I can remember when they used to test the 3 minute warning on a Monday lunchtime,
It feels strange seeing this bin brook again I was .only there 12 months before getting posted to Gibraltar but I enjoyed my time there and meeting lots of nice peaple I often think of the hill it was on and they filmed menthus bell there ihope others enjoy this clip music abit heavy but good
@Mitch Wild Hi Mitch,thanks,I must have met Len, I remember G. Well but never flew in her, our plane was. G2 but was written off after some one dropped some of load o the run into the target Essen July 1943 It’s a small world! Where are you living now. Nice to keep in touch. Regards. Peter
A spent a very happy week there as a 14 year old Air Training Corp cadet in 1975. What a super week amongst such beautiful aeroplanes. Shame it’s just a shell of its former self.

There;s still a fair bit of it standing, then??? I was stationed there a couple of times between 79 and 82.....
Sad to see it. I did my first tour there in Lancs with 460 squad and after incidents awarded. D.F.M in 1943/4. Peter Moore
