Very nice - thanks for sharing.
What is the difference between the two thermostats?, (one with the nob vs the smart one).
Can I setup with two different thermostats, I.e one with nob downstairs and smart one upstairs (we have two thermostats). Thanks

You can have the Original (nob) downstairs and the mini thermostat upstairs yes. Difference is the mini relies on your smart phone more as it's not a full device that can set schedules. The Original you don't need a phone can set schedules, it has boost buttons if you want to quickly heat for an hour and you can do the same as anything on the mini.

Thank you.. just to clarify... the timers didnt have neutrals????

Yes, they are battery operated to power the screen and scheduler, the HIVE receiver doesn't use battery so it needs neutral. The Honeywell was just a switch. They're good for replacing a thermostats which only have 2/3 wires.

Thanks for clearing that up... as a switch only it makes perfect sense..
