Look at that... paint is coming out! Legend! But a nice trick with mixing paint in the cup. Will give it a go 👍
Thanks for taking the time on this review mate. Been in the market myself.
Thank you for the comment... Still using it almost daily and its not let me down 👍
Having been under pressure to buy an expensive air brush (over £350!) which I couldn't either afford or justify, I found this Timbertech one on Amazon and thought it looked like a good compromise. Thanks for showing that it will most likely do just what I want it to do, for less than £100! 🙂
It's still going strong... I use it frequently although did buy a more expensive one I can't recall say its that different... Maybe a tad more responsive but the timbertech one does just fine 👍
Thanks for the review! Mine will be here Friday!
Fab... Enjoy 👍
Thanks for your time and effort in making this film I will buy one knowing it's perfectly adequate for my needs. Algernon
You are most welcome
I saw a CZcams video using the "TIMBERTECH Multi-Purpose Airbrush Set, AG-183K" and I was pretty impressed by what I saw, impressed enough to buy one myself just to check it out. It's a Dual-Action Gravity Feed Airbrush Kits with 0.3/0.5/0.8mm Needles and get this, three different sized paint/fluid cups (2, 5, and13CC - this helped sell me). I've never had an airbrush that cost more than $35 USD in my life and I now have a collection of 5 airbrushes that still work. I have to admit, the "Timbertech AG-183K" was only $25 USD but I'm totally happy with it and recommend it to anyone in need of an inexpensive airbrush. I feel there is no need for me to spend several hundred dollars on a single airbrush. At this low price, I can afford to throw it away and buy eight new ones for the price of one expensive one. Thanks for your video! Enjoyed hearing your opinion! Eric
Thank you for taking the time to comment.. Greatly appreciated 👍
Thanks for showing this. I hope you've refined your handling skills by now. Mixing in the cup is, well.... And pulling the trigger with your thumb is like holding a spoon in your fist.😉
I have indeed refined my skills lol
Thank you. I Plan to buy one based on this video. You are awesome!
Did you jump in and get one?
@@greedy3d480 Yes, I did. And it's awesome. Thanks for steering me right.
Thanks for the video I’ll go ahead a buy one, cheers
👍Thank you
I bought the Timbertech quick connect system for airbrushes. I have no issues with it.
I'm going to look into that one too now 👍
Did you jump in and get one keef
This is a great review of every part of the timbertech airbrush kit! 😀 However from personal experience, try to be careful when changing the nozzles or taking them out to clean, as they could snap and you would have to get a new one 😢. Anyways I'm glad u got into airbrushing and can't wait till the next video!
Great advice thank you 👍👍
As the needles/nozzles in the box are the 02,/0,3/0,5mm that were mentioned in the amazion offer: I'm wondering what size is in the readily mounted pistol..? Couldn't find any information about it
I have the same t-shirt as you 😃 great video
Great taste and thank you 👍
Thanks for the video now I know which one to get. Can I suggest you try a cake decorating turntable, it will make spraying a lot easier. Take care
Thank you... I've got something similar now.. 👍Still using it in all my videos and live it... There's a link in the description of the video to amazon for the airbrush. and if you purchase through the link shortcut a little goes back to the channel but costs you nothing 👍👍😁
@@greedy3d480 okay, thanks
I’ve got a master airbrush when I just started out. The 2 mil nozzle broke up the first day, the O rings got brittle a year in (even tho I didn’t airbrushed that much + I maintained good cleaning) and now it just leaks air and becomes unusable. I would recommend a better one like Harder Steenbeck Ultra or their Evolution airbrushes
I guess it's like most things if you're going to do this as a long time hobby painting frequently then you need to invest in better equipment of course but if you're a casual person or you're just starting out you're only going to use it occasionally you're not quite sure whether the Hobby is for you then you definitely need to start with a starter kit and see how you get on and this is a perfect starter kit
Just got one from Amazon coming tomorrow
Fab... Mines still going strong 👍
Thanks for doing this! As someone who has never touched an airbrush, I get intimidated when people are just snapping parts together and mixing it up while talking so it's so 2nd nature they are losing me. I want to know if I spend that kind of money.. can I even use it and you sir have shown that yes I probably can. Now, with that info in hand I can continue looking at videos and know that on a basic level "I can do this", now what does an expert have to say. Cheers!
Thank you for the kind words... Really appreciate you took the time to comment and so kindly 👍
They do have great reviews...how long can you run it for? Thanks
I use it it almost daily for bout an hour time
My airbrush is spitting water its from the compressor i have the same
Yeah bud, DON"T cover the end and pull it down to mx. You are forcing the paint to the Sealing O ring inside and possible past. This is a bad technique to mix..
Thank you
I got my airbrush kit with the square black compressor has just a red button to start lol. But after one go the pump has stopped. So £50 blown So got this pump and will try tomorrow. Can I fit a small paint gun like a 50 litre tank. Iv a tiny gun and seen a adapted bit
Sorry Gary I'm not sure.. Are you sending back the broken compressor?
@@greedy3d480 Iv asked can they help but I was a few months ago I got it from them so I guess they won’t help lol. It did work ok first just set it up turn it on and the light turns green to spray. But now I set it up and press the button I get a red light dime flashing from the lead control. So now Iv a better one AF18-2
Would this be good for just barber shop application?
Now not sure what barber shop application means... Please elaborate
yes my barber uses one on peoples beards
How Much Bar or PSI do you get out of it max?
I'm not sure if I'm honest as then reading on the front does not give me a PSI
@@greedy3d480 the outer circle is the psi measurements and the inner reads in bar
Goes up to 100
@@greedy3d480 that's what the scala reads but you never get that out of it. I would be thankful if you would turn it on turn it on absolutely max pressure and then start blowing air out of the airbrush. This way Yoh can see what your maximal working pressure is.
I have the same machine and I'm only getting about 20 psi working pressure Wich is really nothing and I'm afraid mine is broken..
@@DatFunnyPerson I'm getting about 35 to 40
Its a shame they hiked the price up by £15 now.
Still great investment mines still going strong
Sorry mate but that compressor definitely does NOT have a tank.
Thanks for the Intel 👍
It's worth getting one with a tank. it saves the motor from overheating on long sessions plus you get a better level of consistent pressure. I got a 3ltr tank on the first one I bought about 8 years ago and it's still running fine of course back then the compressor I bought was about £70 and not only had the tank but came with two airbrushes and all the extra bits. The same kit today is probably nearer £100 if it's even still available
Incorrect.
As you took it out of the box. You stated you wanted one with a tank.
The compressor you have doesn't have a storage tank.
Oh I know 🤣👍
@@greedy3d480 I just got the Fengda version with the tank for £78 off Amazon.. Its compressor only. Id been using a workshop 50 litre workshop compressor... Considering its a power hog and a little excessive for feeding a modelling airbrush. I wanted something smaller.
how is it ?? @@sahhull
@@greedy3d480 pretty silent.
Does the same job as my large compressor,.
It's a win.
that is awesome done!Greedy,
Thank you 👍
