I see lots of people talking about his private life & how they think it influenced his choice here , cz they think Leyton was endgame only cz of his issues with Sophia , i personally didn't even know what had happened behind the scenes between him & Sophia when i watched the show & still it made perfect sense to me that Luke ended up with Peyton , i just felt from the very first moment they talked to eachother thay they were meant for eachother , the chemistry was insane , they were so similar & they had the same interests cz they were both artists & so they got along easily & understood eachother very well , that's why whenever one of them was going through something they would always run to eachother & talked it out whether they were lovers or bestfriends , they got eachother like crazy ! He never had that bond with Brooke , their relationship was more romantic than anything else , but with Peyton it was a strong friendship + romantic feelings which is the perfect combination for an epic love story , Leyton was meant to be since the very first moment , i felt it with all my heart & i'm so happy they got their happy ending ❤

It's a wonder that Chad and Sophia were able to work together for three years after their divorce. I don't know of many ex-couples that could do that, Fleetwood Mac fell apart because a couple broke up, and it was no good.
No matter what happened between him and sophia in real life, I think Leyton developed more as a couple and had some of the best scenes in the show. I personally didn’t see Brucas ever being endgame.
Here’s the thing, Chad chose Sophia (not Brooke) and then he cheated on her. He and Hilario are terrific friends and their characters were soulmates. People really need to learn how to separate reel from real. Even if Chad and Sophia had stayed together (which is highly unlikely since both have said and done things that made it clear that marriage was doomed from the start and not really what either party wanted) Lucas and Peyton were always going to end up together because the Creator/Writer has confirmed it was always meant to be Lucas and Peyton. Brooke wasn’t even a character when that endgame was written.
True, Brooke literally didn't exist in the pilot, and truth be told, I wouldn't be surprised if Brooke's sudden existence in the second episode was like Buffy The Vampire Slayer where she suddenly has a sister in Season Five, only nobody explains it lol. And because that Leyton scene with the tow truck and the Comet is written before Brooke existed/Tara was renamed to Brooke/Sophia was cast, and gives off legit "there's fireworks on ungodly levels going off here" vibes, I stand by Leyton, but I think Brooke is better off without Lucas in that way.

It didn’t happen that quickly at all. I don’t like to defend the writing on this show, but it’s clear early on in season 5 that he did not get over Peyton and other characters repeatedly try to tell him that. Also, Lucas never actually hated her.
whether or not he was originally supposed to end up with peyton (which to me, from what i watched of it, it certainly looked that way), their storyline worked so well. for me personally, everything pointed to Leyton being endgame & they were my favourite ship on the show.
@@thewildbruce5612 The reason Chad and Hilarie have chemistry in real life is because he did a Season 5 episode of Dawson's Creek where she made an appearance where she had a scene with him in an episode and that is how they met and he said that when he met Hilarie that she told him that he wasn't cool and he had a thing for her but she didn't feel the same way so she turned him down super quick and that is when he saw a fire in her and that is when he decided that she was going to be his friend and before One Tree Hill premiered in the fall him and Hilarie co-hosted Pepsi Smash in 2003 and Sophia was only supposed to be a guest star for comedy purposes which is why she had to audition three times but then people fell in love with her character so then they decided to add her as a main character.

That was a rumor... I have put the pieces together, Paris Hilton did cheat on Nick Carter while filming House of Wax but it wasn't with Chad, she just told Aaron (Carter) that it was Chad because he was the bigger name at the time (there is a video out there of the guy she did hook up with, whom I'm not naming because I am pretty sure all his fans already know, with her voice). Chad was on set almost all of the time and Paris was only there for like two weeks and only in a few scenes so she had a lot of down time, the same two weeks he was setting up his proposal and proposing to Sophia... which was documented for German MTV... so he literally did not have time to cheat... They didn't work out because they were young and not ready for marriage, they weren't right for each other, only they were in love but it was more like a puppy love. Reality is what broke them up. I can't believe all these year later that people still believe this... Sophia has even said it was because they were young and dumb.

SummerTime the creator of the show states that he created a whole around Lucas and Peyton. So every other storyline was for dramatic effect (I.e Brucas and Jeyton). It was to show that no matter what may come between two destined lovers they will always find their way back to each other.
SummerTime I read the article , but if u pay a good attention , Hilarie said that the creators of the show were trying diffrent pairs & seeing which pair has the best chemistry & when they said that Luke & Brooke were gonna end up together it wasn't a definite decision , they were still testing them & she said that when they saw that the chemistry between Luke & Peyton was indeniable it was no question that that was the endgame , so nothing was really sure from the start they had to try diffrent pairs & see what clicked , & at the end of it was Leyton that felt like the real deal !

Honestly brucas was kinda annoying to me because most of their relationship was just them trying to trust each other. Brooke felt insecure about Peyton and Lucas felt insecure about Chris. Literally the whole beginning part of the relationship was Lucas saying that “he’s the guy for her” and her telling him that they should be friends with benefits. And as soon as she sees him with Rachel she goes and sleeps with Chris. Idk they just seemed really messy to me and they literally had nothing in common. Even while they were together there were always these little moments where Lucas would comfort Peyton when Ellie died or the scenes in the library when Peyton got shot which to me had way more chemistry than Brucas scenes ever had. That’s why Leyton is endgame.

Its not true though that there divorce did not impact it one way or the other. Yes mark always said that leyton was endgame and that's what he wanted from day 1 but sophia wasn't in the pilot nobody knew the chemistry that chophia had and that shifted the direction of the show. Mark said publically numerous times that he was always mindful of chophias person relationship and couldn't force them to be romantic together after they divorced in such a bitter way, the truth of the matter is that at that time more fans did like brucas. Chophias chemistry is much stronger than hilarie and chads and even leyton fans know that. I'm not saying for sure brucas would have been endgame if they did not divorce but they wouldn't have been counted out as end game and they certainly wouldn't have continued writing the show acting like brucas never even existed.
Actually Hilary Burton herself confirmed it was Brooke who was supposed to end up with Luke but since Chad was a dickhead and couldn't keep it in his pants, he complicated and ruined the whole OTH story, it would have been just weird if they ended up together.. Lucas and brooke would have ended up together had it not been for Chad cheating on her. They had so much chemistry that they fell for each other in real life. Ultimately I think they put Lucas with Peyton because it was too hard for Sophia and would make the whole story come full circle.

Jake was perfect for Peyton he balanced her. And with Brooke and Lucas they were perfect in season 3 she was all energy and he was the calm one. The same with Hayley and Nathan they complement each other. Lucas and Peyton were the same person and that's why they had to break them up or make drama with either Peyton or Lucas when they were together to make it interesting. And what about the plot, "I'm the guy for you Brooke Davies" at that time they had made their mind that they would end up together. But in the end of the third season they realized how hard it was for Sophia and took another root. Lucas and Brooke were perfect.

There was none, in the first season they had a little but that was because Peyton was another person she was bitchy but then she changed as a character which didn't complement Lucas at all and they realized that Lucas and Brooke worked together. And yea of course Mark can't say the real reason, they even had some hope for them in the beginning of season 4 but there was no return at that point. And again if they wanted them to get back together they wouldn't take the Brooke and Lucas relationship as seriously as they did with him saying that she was the one for him. I see lots of people talking about his private life & how they think it influenced his choice here , cz they think Leyton was endgame only cz of his issues with Sophia , i personally didn't even know what had happened behind the scenes between him & Sophia when i watched the show & still it made perfect sense to me that Luke ended up with Peyton , i just felt from the very first moment they talked to eachother thay they were meant for eachother , the chemistry was insane , they were so similar & they had the same interests cz they were both artists & so they got along easily & understood eachother very well , that's why whenever one of them was going through something they would always run to eachother & talked it out whether they were lovers or bestfriends , they got eachother like crazy ! He never had that bond with Brooke , their relationship was more romantic than anything else , but with Peyton it was a strong friendship + romantic feelings which is the perfect combination for an epic love story , Leyton was meant to be since the very first moment , i felt it with all my heart & i'm so happy they got their happy ending ❤

Here’s the thing, Chad chose Sophia (not Brooke) and then he cheated on her. He and Hilario are terrific friends and their characters were soulmates. People really need to learn how to separate reel from real. Even if Chad and Sophia had stayed together (which is highly unlikely since both have said and done things that made it clear that marriage was doomed from the start and not really what either party wanted) Lucas and Peyton were always going to end up together because the Creator/Writer has confirmed it was always meant to be Lucas and Peyton. Brooke wasn’t even a character when that endgame was written.
True, Brooke literally didn't exist in the pilot, and truth be told, I wouldn't be surprised if Brooke's sudden existence in the second episode was like Buffy The Vampire Slayer where she suddenly has a sister in Season Five, only nobody explains it lol. And because that Leyton scene with the tow truck and the Comet is written before Brooke existed/Tara was renamed to Brooke/Sophia was cast, and gives off legit "there's fireworks on ungodly levels going off here" vibes, I stand by Leyton, but I think Brooke is better off without Lucas in that way.

whether or not he was originally supposed to end up with peyton (which to me, from what i watched of it, it certainly looked that way), their storyline worked so well. for me personally, everything pointed to Leyton being endgame & they were my favourite ship on the show.

@@thewildbruce5612 The reason Chad and Hilarie have chemistry in real life is because he did a Season 5 episode of Dawson's Creek where she made an appearance where she had a scene with him in an episode and that is how they met and he said that when he met Hilarie that she told him that he wasn't cool and he had a thing for her but she didn't feel the same way so she turned him down super quick and that is when he saw a fire in her and that is when he decided that she was going to be his friend and before One Tree Hill premiered in the fall him and Hilarie co-hosted Pepsi Smash in 2003 and Sophia was only supposed to be a guest star for comedy purposes which is why she had to audition three times but then people fell in love with her character so then they decided to add her as a main character.

I have put the pieces together, Paris Hilton did cheat on Nick Carter while filming House of Wax but it wasn't with Chad, she just told Aaron (Carter) that it was Chad because he was the bigger name at the time (there is a video out there of the guy she did hook up with, whom I'm not naming because I am pretty sure all his fans already know, with her voice). Chad was on set almost all of the time and Paris was only there for like two weeks and only in a few scenes so she had a lot of down time, the same two weeks he was setting up his proposal and proposing to Sophia... which was documented for German MTV... so he literally did not have time to cheat... They didn't work out because they were young and not ready for marriage, they weren't right for each other, only they were in love but it was more like a puppy love. Reality is what broke them up. I can't believe all these year later that people still believe this... Sophia has even said it was because they were young and dumb.

SummerTime the creator of the show states that he created a whole around Lucas and Peyton. So every other storyline was for dramatic effect (I.e Brucas and Jeyton). It was to show that no matter what may come between two destined lovers they will always find their way back to each other.

Honestly brucas was kinda annoying to me because most of their relationship was just them trying to trust each other. Brooke felt insecure about Peyton and Lucas felt insecure about Chris. Literally the whole beginning part of the relationship was Lucas saying that “he’s the guy for her” and her telling him that they should be friends with benefits. And as soon as she sees him with Rachel she goes and sleeps with Chris. Idk they just seemed really messy to me and they literally had nothing in common. Even while they were together there were always these little moments where Lucas would comfort Peyton when Ellie died or the scenes in the library when Peyton got shot which to me had way more chemistry than Brucas scenes ever had. That’s why Leyton is endgame.

Its not true though that there divorce did not impact it one way or the other. Yes mark always said that leyton was endgame and that's what he wanted from day 1 but sophia wasn't in the pilot nobody knew the chemistry that chophia had and that shifted the direction of the show. Mark said publically numerous times that he was always mindful of chophias person relationship and couldn't force them to be romantic together after they divorced in such a bitter way, the truth of the matter is that at that time more fans did like brucas. Chophias chemistry is much stronger than hilarie and chads and even leyton fans know that. I'm not saying for sure brucas would have been endgame if they did not divorce but they wouldn't have been counted out as end game and they certainly wouldn't have continued writing the show acting like brucas never even existed.

Chad not only cheated on her, they got divorced and not even a year later he was engaged to an extra he met on set who was sophia's friend. Chad has no reason to publicly bash her she never did anything to him.

The fact of the matter is we are all human beings and yes we make mistakes, but in doing so we learn from it, we grow from it and move forward. I'm not saying I support him cheating but I'm saying people tend to do stupid things when your young and naive. Now, in regards to him dating/engagement to Kenzie, that was foul (even thou I doubt Sophia and Kenzie was besties) but please don't pretend as if Sophia didn't date not one but two of Chad's friend ( i.e James and Austin respectively). Everyone to me deserves a second chance to redeem themselves imo. Did you hear of Chad cheating on any of other partners?-idk but I didn't so far.
I agree that the comment she made was a little petty absolutely, but at the same time she did have reason to be upset, she was majorly betrayed by him, but its not as if she goes out of her way to talk about him. As far as her dating 2 of chads friends, James and chad apparently started having a lot of tension with each other before he started dating sophia and Austin came on the show because he was already with sophia him and chad were never friends by the time austin came on the show sophia and him were already together. I wont dispute sophia saying that wasnt great but there are other interviews where she does speak about her marriage positively as a learning experience.

Lucas and brooke would have ended up together had it not been for Chad cheating on her. They had so much chemistry that they fell for each other in real life. Ultimately I think they put Lucas with Peyton because it was too hard for Sophia and would make the whole story come full circle.
no, litteraly from the first episode of one tree hill it was obvious that peyton and lucas would end up together with the fact that he had this long crush on her also they had an instant connection
Zora Blabla No actually that's not true, they started out with them as their start point but soon realized that their dynamics didn't work, they were just boring. Jake was perfect for Peyton he balanced her. And with Brooke and Lucas they were perfect in season 3 she was all energy and he was the calm one. The same with Hayley and Nathan they complement each other. Lucas and Peyton were the same person and that's why they had to break them up or make drama with either Peyton or Lucas when they were together to make it interesting. And what about the plot, "I'm the guy for you Brooke Davies" at that time they had made their mind that they would end up together. But in the end of the third season they realized how hard it was for Sophia and took another root. Lucas and Brooke were perfect.

Zora Blabla When was I talking about who looked better, I was talking about the connection. There was none, in the first season they had a little but that was because Peyton was another person she was bitchy but then she changed as a character which didn't complement Lucas at all and they realized that Lucas and Brooke worked together. And yea of course Mark can't say the real reason, they even had some hope for them in the beginning of season 4 but there was no return at that point. And again if they wanted them to get back together they wouldn't take the Brooke and Lucas relationship as seriously as they did with him saying that she was the one for him. Lucas and Peyton were cute in the first season but that was it otherwise there was no connection at all. Hayley and Lucas would have worked better, Peyton and Lucas had become such good friends and it was like they were siblings so it just felt weird when they got together in season 4.

Brucas all the way. Whether the show’s storyline was changed because of their real life breakup we don’t know but it’s common sense that It played a part in it.
It wasn’t. Mark wanted leyton but brucas was the fan favorite so they made them be together but Naley was ALSO fan favorite and mark wanted them to divorce after Haley came back from tour and the network said no so he said fine, if you get naley, I get leyton.

the answer is peyton cause Chad cheated on Sophia, otherwise Brooke and Lucas would be endgame on the show, and that breaks my heart cause brooke and luke had so much more chemistry
