This was super helpful!! Reading my directional pamphlet, it said to make sure the balde was spinning toward me. The red blade had the "both ways" arrow and it threw me for a loop. I got a little paranoid until i found your video. 😊

Thanks for the details on each of the blades and uses... just purchased the 6 inch saw and been trying to understand the blade differences and this helps a lot.

Hey there, was wondering if you had a blade or unit you'd recommend from your lineup for cutting slab material from larger chunks of thinks like amazonite, chrysoprase, petrified wood etc. So like 1-2kg chunks.

Hi there - The best way to determine which saw will be the best for your needs is to know the height of your cutting material. You never want the material to be taller than the saw blade. Here are the blade heights for our 6" and 10" saws that would be best for your size rocks depending on their height. These measurements are taken from the table to the top of the blade.
      6″ Trim saw: 1.75″
      10″ Slab saw: 3.75″
We hope this information helps to determine the best saw for your work. Please contact us at sales@hitechdiamond.com or 630-596-9909 for further assistance.

This saw is our most popular saw. It cuts rocks like butter, not fingers ;)

@@HiTechDiamond I am ready to buy. I was going to go with Kingsley North, but I can buy from you direct, right? I'm interested in your thick saw blade option for cutting a groove around the outside perimeter of my cabochons to fit 20 gage wire. My blue quartz is some of the very best.

@@rockyourworldmountainminer9555 You can purchase through Kingsley, as we always support our dealers! Talk to them about blades if you need a thicker blade for your application :)
