The clean kills are killing an enemy without taking damage, not killing an enemy without missing a shot. UPDATE: shooting both at once is apparently bugged, so for now to get the range shots you have to alter the shots.
I think clean kills are kills that are not headshot, or wallbang, because there is another challenge that literally says get kills without taking damage, or at least thats how I got Interstellar when the game came out

Tips from Jackson here: do all the weekly quests in hardcore. Every kill you get will be a clean kill and it only takes one shot. The only quests I’d say not to do in hardcore is the multiple hit ones.

The game is basically unplayable on PS4, you'll be lucky to get 40 fps on the big wz map while new gen and PC players get 120+ fps
