One time I read a post asking wedding helpers what are bad signs for marriage and every single time a noncon cake smash happens the marriage ends poorly and that's even if it gets past the first day.

I HATE pranks. I’ve broken up with bf or ended relationships over them too.

I kind've took offense to the second story when she talked about Lee. And how her husband only knew him for 3 years and that he didn't speak fluent english.
I went to Africa and my roommate was Dominican. I'm 7 years older than him and we were in the same unit(We're Army), in the 9 months I knew him for this little stint, we became very much like family and to this day I still keep up with him.
If he died? I'd have cried ugly.
You don't know how men bond, but trust me. 3 years may as well be an eternity for us. Now I'm not saying her husband's in the right. He absolutely needs to take that Chief job for sake of his family and wife. He can still do right by Lee and his brothers from the Station, hell he can even advocate more aggressive with the proper push and power.
But yeah. I'm just saying... the "3 years" part got to me a little.

Stop being so fucking sensitive and stop being offended over stupid shit bro. Trust me you’ll be happier if you stop looking for things to get offended over.

I used to work at weddings as a bartender. Every wedding when there is a cake smash it always ends with the couple splitting up. I’ve warned a bunch of ppl not to do and guys still think that it’s no big deal. Then when their new wife takes off the ring they act all surprised. Yeah it’s a funny video to watch but they don’t see the aftermath drama and break up that happens.

2nd OP is heartless and entitled, sorry but if you see that a death affected your fiancé that much you should realize that there's more to it than you think and as such you have ZERO room to be talking about it let alone expect him to immediately get back on his feet. i don't give a fuck if you think 6 months is enough, some people never stop mourning and that 3 year old employee could have done more for him than you ever did your entire life for all you know

The lady in the second story just sounds entitled and you have to understand that everyone grief’s differently some get right back up on thier feet some it will take months and you also have to think is that for 3 years they were going into near death experiences with each other and none the less your husband and him most likely trained together as well and you have to think that that kid might have saved you husband so your husband may feel like there has to be justice of some kind

First dirty story that woman is 1000 1,000,000 percent in the right to leave. Screw all of that family and apparently yours too. That’s messed up. I hope her and Frank are doing well

Look 2nd story OP is entitled and probably a racist, but her fiance is pretty obviously using grief as an excuse to not keep his promise because he never actually wanted to take up an admin role.
Man agreed to the 5 year timeline to buy time and has basically just been stringing OP along with the hope that if she doesn't act up she'll get the "privilege" of not worrying if her husband will be coming home whenever she hears a siren.
Man should be allowed to grieve but there's ways to grieve that aren't breaking a promise because you never actually wanted to get serious.

I think she was just describing lee and how long her husband knew him it’s not always about race and you take away frm the point when you make it all about that she just wanted her husband out of danger bc someone just died
