Oshi no Ko second season!
The opening theme is "Fatal" by GEMN (Kento Nakajima & Tatsuya Kitani). It's also worth mentioning is that the original song is also arranged by Giga (you can hear the influence especially in the transitions).
This song alludes to the concept of "double" in different ways:
- The song is performed by two singers. The unit's name GEMN is very similar to Gemini (the "Twins" constellation), coincidence?
- The Japanese title of the song (ファタール) is used for two meanings: "fatal" and "fatale". You can see this from the official English translation of the lyrics: • ファタール / GEMN - Fatal /...
In this piano arrangement, there are some special parts to look out for:
- The intro (0:00) is a heavy, drawn-out version of the original, with reference to the opening bars from Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor. The short transition at the end of Verse A (0:33) also references the same piece.
- The bass line in Verse C (1:52) is a subtle nod to YOASOBI's Idol.
- I added a bit of variation to the right hand in the second chorus (2:02).

What are your settings/presets that you use for Garritan CFX? Can you be specific I want my piano to sound just like yours and achieve that variation in tones and volume, especially towards the bass notes since I can’t get those to sound as loud as yours
