thank you so much for this video.... definitely coming to China soon, I'm in KOREA now. can you makea video recommending good schools or recruiters we can use, do you recommend EF?
Video is done just needs some editing on recruiting plugs. I worked for ef Suzhou back than but a lot has changed with training centers now so they should be last option.
Hi Mfana, thank you for this video. I'd also like to know are you able to come back during school terms in the case of coming to attend a funeral back here in SA and how often are you able to come back and visit home in general.
You are able to come back ukuth most of the time people come home once a year because of money. But as I’m texting I’m out of China on holiday. On January I will travel home again out of China. There is no longer Covid so it chilled now
Sawbona bhuti.. I hope I find you well. I’m a South African about to start my process of moving to china as an English teacher. Ngicela ukubuza, how long does the visa processing take, approximately? Thanks in advance 😊
Suzhou, Shenzhen is abit more expensive especially rent wise so you will pay more. The cost of living there is higher since it a t1 city. China is overall cheap to live in just that in Shenzhen you will pay an extra ¥ here n there just because it a city. But you will still save more. Also salaries in t1 cities are higher so overall it makes living costs the same as in other cities unless your salary incane than uzozwela ke
Hey Mfana, I heard the part where you said iPhones are cheaper in China, so I’m trying to contemplate, if I should buy mines in SA or when I move to China next year (I’m currently in South Korea) .I was wondering if you know how much an iPhone 11 Pro Max 256Gb be roughly that side? I know it’s unrelated, but since the video is about Saving, I might as well save a few thousands.
Bank or the easiest way everyone uses is swapping rands for Yuen with people who do businesses in China and South Africa. There are groups on wechat with these people. Or exchange with other teachers vise versa they always use the current rate
guys but is china still hiring people with no teaching experience and no BEd degree worse if you a black african I think you guys sot in early its over now they only want experienced people with teaching, which is bad because SA has no jobs even with masters you will earn 5K in Sa if you get employment and these teaching jobs are a thing of the past if you applying now. Its almost impossible to even land an interview.
China has cut down on the English language demand especially after shutting down their training centers it visible now the impacts it has done. However it still better than in mzansi for ispani. N yes in 2 or 3 years china will only want teachers with a teaching qualification. Also try getting experience with a training center n than Move from there
