    Here comes a special dish from Mangaluru found in almost every house during Jack Fruit season.
    Ingredients and Procedure:
    Ingredients:
    • One and Half Cup Boiled Rice ( White in Color)
    • ½ Cup idly Rice
    • Grated Coconut
    • Jack Fruit
    • Cardamom
    • Jaggery
    • Salt
    • **Leaf - Teak leaves or Banana leaves
    Method:
    Step 1: Wash and soak the rice for at least 6 hrs (Boiled + Idly).
    Step 2: Grind assorted jackfruit with coconut, cardamom, Jaggery and little salt (DO NOT ADD WATER).
    Step 3: Drain the rice completely and grind along with above mixture. *If the mixture container is small, grind in batches. (Add little water in case the mixture gives trouble while grinding).
    Step 4: Keep the consistency thick.
    Step 4: Transfer the mixture to a container and add grated coconut, salt and mix well.
    Step 5: Spread the above mixture on a leaf and fold as shown in the video.
    Step 6: Steam the cakes in a steamer until the cake is cooked to perfection.
