I am lucky to have a local lady that cooks and delivers wonderful meals a couple of times a week. They cost $10 each in a freezable container. I only can eat half of each one normally so the other half goes in the freezer. I can no longer afford to eat out very often. But this is a deal and she does it more as a ministry as anything. She delivers 2-3 times a week. She has even added a Keto meal. I’m so fortunate.

When you first go in the store you can grab something (like a t-shirt) that’s the color of the week and carry it around with you to remind you what color you’re looking for

Speaking about teaching your kids about buying groceries, I would take my sister's oldest kids shopping with me. I would show them an item and ask them to figure out which version would be the cheapest for us to buy. Sometimes the "sales" aren't necessarily the cheapest. Lol.

When I got married 50 years ago the only thing I had to provide for the church were the flower sprays & candles for the candelabras. The church had everything else like the aisle runner & pew bows. Like you said, everything is so different now.

I like that you pick up a range of things. You can make as much off a volume of lower cost items as you can off of a few high cost items.
I just passed up a big heavy blue bowl that a few had sold between $120-$130. Only a couple listed. I did not pick it up for $7.99 at a local thrift store. I didn’t want to list it or ship it. I should say that I didn’t want to even Lift it. It was heavy. I didn’t care what the profit would have been. We all buy things for certain reasons! My sister and her husband had bought all of the inventory, only at Estate Sales, for her antique store and at the final last month before the permits and signing the lease, the city suddenly said that there was not enough parking spaces for that type of store. She took everything and they moved to South Carolina and took it all to an Auction House and never looked back. She had all high end items. She only kept about 15 items and they are amazing. She said the best thing that ever happened. She is happy just relaxing in life now.

I see what you need to do on your client based market. It's different for every consumer depending on their budget, their ability to have access to unusual decorating items etc. Keep doing what you do... 👍 ❤
