Maxus 35 - is this comfortable, no frills Polish cruiser bang for your buck?

- The largest model yet in the Maxus range from Polish yard Northman is an entry-level size for most brands these days. It seems nicely finished and has all the features needed for family cruising but is it value for money?

That’s a really nice looking boat. 35 feet is plenty for most casual sailers. Offers plenty of comfort for overnight stays.
A new 35' yacht is a fantasy wet dream for most sailors.
Does anyone else feel like Toby is thinking 'are you really making me review a 35' Polish built yacht'. He seems so bored and unexcited.
This boat certainly does give reason for feeling so.
A bit more breeze would have helped admittedly!
Excellent review Toby and a very nice boat the Polish build some nice boats .
I believe cooked cupboard doors are a traditional polish dish...👨🏻🍳
Tobby, very nice video. Thank you for doing the tour for us.
👍
Whoever decided on the upper cupboard doors in the galley, has obviously never cooked 😂
How is this possible? You are absolutely right.
I was about to argue… then 😱 You are correct! 😂
I was going to write exactly the same. So silly I am sure they'll change it.
If they can get that wrong makes me think what else is not correct
Sorry, but they are the right way round. Opening from the top, you can see if their contents are about to fall out before they do. Any other way you end up with your condiments all over the floor!
The more I see the interior design and build, the more I like it, particularly the head, which is very tidy, bright and large for the size of the boat. The separate shower was a nice surprise. The interior and deck design are probably not competitive with current French boats, but the price is good.
Agree with the other comments about the galley upper locker doors. Horizontally sliding doors and/or some open shelves would work better. A few details like this aren't perfect.
I wonder what they will cost second handed after some depreciation kicks in... also, what are some of the technical details? Keel matrix join glued or glassed? What is the ocean rating of this boat? Water/fuel capacity?
I hope those hatches between the lockers and the the head stay well secured. Seems like a lot of flooding risk.
Excellent review! Still will go for a Sigma 38 though 👌
Fair enough!
Are there any racing focus boat under 40ft?
So a 1/4 million for this boat. Lots of competition in this price range
Honestly, an 8 year old 48 ft sounds like the better option... but I'm also not in the market.
@@will0ughbysecond hand purchases are the most financially viable
So its same price as bennetau?
Ikea boat. The heads compartment is good for a 35ft yacht, but i would rather buy a secondhand boat for 80% discount. Hard market.
G’day Toby, when was the last time you did a review when there was some wind? It’s called YACHTING world, not FLOATING WORLD. You may as well do a walk through at the dock 👎
Great boat for the price.
Wanna have a special treatment for your stomach, when nav-table is down? Then buy this yacht!
SO.its looks like IKEA was the chosen interior decorating company
I really do not like the way the anchor touches the bobstay...
Plastic not so fantastic. I'd like to have it, but I think I can do a lot better on the slightly used market. Cheap isn't always less expensive.
Very IKEA, for that money I'd sooner buy a better quality second hand boat
So basically a knockoff jeanneau 349
I thought it looked very much like a knock-off Dufour 360. Extraordinarily similar, except they have sacrificed aft cabin space for all that stowage.
Hmmm , another galley designed for cooking a can of beens😢
To me it looks cheaply built, poorly finished and massively overpriced. I would not want to go to sea in that.
Good as it maybe - hell it is ugly.
