In this video we're giving you the inside scoop on exactly what supplies (and from where!) we stock for our guests - from the welcome basket of snacks to toilet paper in the bathrooms. And you know we have our own opinion on "the great coffee station debate".
Drop a comment with how many takes you think it took for Kylee to balance two rolls of TP on her head ;)

I leave 4 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, a few candles, a transit pass with a few bus and ferry tickets on it, a 10$ gift card to the neighborhood coffee shop, maps, tea, coffee, bottle of water in the fridge, some fresh flowers and basic condiments. 👍
Your a Super Host 😊
@M Moreno best one ever
You’re a dream host 😍
wow!!!!
candles? O.O
I absolutely love your channel. I’m taking note of all your helpful tips for when we start our STR 😍
Another wonderfully helpful and detailed video! Thank you! Love the visuals too.
Offering your supply list as well is over the top.
I'm taking note of your tip with the refillable clear bottles for dish soap and shampoo. I have an upscale rental for one or two people and i would put a new bottle for each stay and then use the leftovers myself but it would be less wasteful to just top up those instead 👍
Thank you for all of your vidéos. Learning a lot here to improve our New Airbnb !!
Hello, New to your channel, we really like your videos, very informative and fun to watch. We have two houses and STR one when we are in the other, or sometimes have them both rented and we are “home free” . Keep up the great work, Mark & Shelley
I SMASHED that Like Button because of your stance on Toilet Paper!!! Thank you!!!! I can't stand properties that only leave 2 rolls for a 6 person location for a whole week.
Should be a crime! 😅
@@kyleeandsteven haha agreed!
Appreciate your practical advice
LOVE your videos and tips!
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos! I just launched my Airbnb last month and it’s been going well. Your videos have been so helpful. What do you use to record your videos? I love the set up
Thank you. Needed that!!
Great channel and good info, I like that the guy is smiling more 🙂😀
😂😂 being in front of a camera is not natural for either of us. Thanks for sticking with us as we get more comfortable! 😅
Thank u for this helpful video 👌🏽🤞🏽✌🏽👍🏽🥰
One of my favorite Airbnbs is in York, England and while there I discovered Faith in Nature products and have been buying them on Amazon mainly for myself but they also sell bulk. When I finally get those Amber bottles I am going to also get Faith in Nature in bulk for my rentals.
oh my gosh, I did not realize the food basket was free! I assumed it was like a hotel where you have to pay for what you eat. I’ve never eaten anything in the basket.
Hey guys I’m so glad I came across this channel such great content. Actually about to close on a home in Joshua Tree so a lot of your videos are coming in clutch. I tried to check out your supply checklist but it’s not a link so I’m not able to open it. If it’s not to much trouble could you please make it a link. Thanks again for the great content. Have a great day.
Hey Jonathan! I saw your sign up come through, check your email for the supplies checklist! Might have gone to spam 😊
I love those scrubbers 3:42
How'd the sponge work out?
Thanks for the video! I'm curious, what FB groups do you like/recommend? Thanks so much.
Should it have hot cocoa like Nestlé too? Or it's not necessary? And does it have to have both normal and decaf coffe or just one coffee type and tea?
Love your channel! Extremely helpful as we are launching our first STR. On the subject of restocking, do you think hosts should always refill soap to the top and start with a new roll of toilet paper and paper towel after each guest. What can we do with all the leftovers papers?
Congrats on starting your first STR! We like to see soaps and shampoos refilled to the top each time. Toilet paper and paper towels we’ll reuse if there’s still a good amount left on the roll. TP gets a “pixie stamp” (google that 😊) or one of our cleaners makes a little flower (which we’ve yet to be able to replicate lol) and they usually take the almost-gone rolls home with them. They have some special folds for the paper towel rolls, too, and almost-gone paper towel rolls get put in the supply closet for cleaning use.
@@kyleeandsteven thanks you, that makes sense! Just a suggestion, we would love to see a deep dive on creating a listing on Airbnb and Vrbo. I was trying to create a listing while we are still furnishing and continue to work on the details of the listing, but found out there are very limited options available for edit before “publishing”, but after publishing, you only have like a day to figure out the details before the world sees it😱 any tips on what decisions we should consider in advance and which settings are critical to include? Thank you so much! Please keep doing what you are doing, i admire your courage to start a CZcams channel from zero, and I think you guys have great stories and insights to share!
@@clairelamoureux3463 You can publish your listing with some dates blocked out... Only make it available in the calendar at the date when it will be ready... Then people can still book while you are preparing it. Put up pictures of what is ready as you go. That's what i did with my listing in Québec this summer. I notice your last name, fellow québécois hosts? 👋
How many units do you have? Thanks
What brand of pots and pans do you use?
Hi Gwen! Here’s a link to our sample inventory that includes links to the pots and pans we typically use:
www.Arrivls.com/inventory
What about a Wall-Mounted dispenser for the Shampoo/Body Wash/Conditioner?? I'd be afraid that guests would actually TAKE the bottles you leave out as a courtesy.
that's what I do - wall mounted in all showers; body wash, shampoo, conditioner
What brand and color sheets do you recommend?
Hi Ann! You can view our recommendations on t this list:
arrivls.com/blog/our-str-sample-inventory/
I am a cleaner. I supply basic toilet paper, tissue and refills for bathroom and kitchen, laundry soap with my cleaning fee. Currently I offer refill for coffee, sugar, water and snacks. Adding that to fee
Shoot. I need to hire you!
Would love to know what Facebook groups you are in!
What is you rate?
Do you throw away the dish sponge after every guest?
Typically, yes.
yes
@@kyleeandsteven what about the reusable sponge that’s shown? Concerned guest may not like the idea sponge was used to clean glassware and eating utensils.
@@kyleeandsteven Do you replace sponges even after a 2 night booking?
Its a small cost that will add up but for someone starting out its gonna take a nice chunk of your budget you get especially if your only getting maybe 1 booking a month or so, but if your fairly booked then yeah all those amenities is just a drop in the bucket. Hotels aren't even this generous at some establishments, you get the toilet paper of course, and a pack of coffee and some soap which is a small bar
Yes but airbnbs are a different baby than a hotel. Hotels want to drive you downstairs to spend $ in their marketplace and restaurants. For what airbnbs lack in hotel like amenities (room service, on-site concierge, gym, spa, etc) they make up for in ways like what’s shown in this video. A more “home away from home” experience. And if you’re just starting out, you need to come charging out the gate 5 star ready. Otherwise, good luck competing with well established properties that provide all these amenities and more.
Costco makes the best products.....Kirkland is the same as the main product. I would not buy from Target, it is too expensive.
We leave provide all of it except snack basket & bottled water.
Not enough comments to warrant the time, money & energy and not one mention of missing it since we quit it
TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR ON SPONGES??? Lol how many properties do you have??
😂😂 own 4, manage 30+. It’s a LOT of sponges!! 😅
@@kyleeandsteven ahhh okay makes more sense
Y
We LOOVE public goods, have them branded at all of our listings, however that's a constant theme with their shipping, there's always one broken or leaking bottle in each order, lol. @kubandaproperties
