Yes a great mind indeed. I particular like the part around 12:15 where he said the RNC was basically a KKK convention. Just the way he did that with no references to any moments whatsoever to anything that was said at the RNC that is even remotely close to what is said at a KKK rally was just brilliant. Truly inspirational.

@12:00 He has a good point. We always think short term and not long term. if black people as a block voted for the Green Party, the democratic party would see how much they need us to win moving forward. That would give us leverage for elections moving forward. what do yall think?

I mostly agree but, before making that #ElectoralTransition....We must establish a clear Monolithic Paradigm based on Our Needs...otherwise the Green Party, Libretarians, etc. will treat Us like a #TwoDollarHoe...just like the Democrats have!

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill was prophetic in this. It was refreshing hearing someone speak the truth about our political system. I agree 100% on what he said about the DNC and the RNC. It's a duopoly. Trump is a joke but Clinton has a track record. Who is worst? Both are. We need real change via 3rd (or 4th) political parties. This is how we get real choices and how we get accountable political parties.
    Respect.

"The system isn't designed to treat you better. The system is designed to marginalize and erase you. The system is built on exploitation of black labor and then after slavery ends the rules just change to prosecute slavery by other means, through prison and convict leasing and all these other things. The system is made to exploit you. We have to break the system and asserting our somebodyness is what allows you to know that." - Dr. Marc Lamont Hill

+Jay Green "We"? You didn't do shit. Just because you share the same skin color as the people you're referring to doesnt mean their efforts or accomplishments have anything to do with you. Besides those people were forced to build the infastructure. They didnt do it with their own will and desire. Besides, you can't just acquire that badge just because other people who share your same pigment of skin did that. By that logic, then you'd be responsible for all the black people who burn down their own communities when they riot. Do you consider those people "we" as well? I bet you don't. I bet you choose to disassociate yourself with those people right? You dont get to choose whose efforts represents you yourself as an individual. The actions of another human being who shares the same skin color as you is in no way a reflection of yourself nor does it dictate your direction in life. You are your own person you are not part of the black club. The world is yours my friend. You should stop color coding yourself and others.

18:20 a white neighborhood would have led in the water for a year if it was poor and Democrat as a Mayor (who is black). So the reason can't be because of ethnicity, it must be because that place is led by economic-incompetent politicians.
21:39 yes proximity does play a role, but it's more about the *rate* of the crime, not the black on black crime itself. It happens at an alarming rate and it does happen more often. It's not white supremacy, there is no white supremacy. It's easier to kill a black man than a white man? You just talked about proximity, most blacks aren't in the same neighborhood. "No one goes across town" right? If you believe another human being is just more disposable because it was "taught" to you by the boogie man, stop being gullible. Just because you do something subconsciously (like treat a "white" neighborhood, better than your own), that proves that the change in the neighborhood starts with you. Why can't you do those same things in your neighborhood?
22:51 they aren't saying that because they want to have a right to kill us. They are saying that because if you want to resolve a problem within the black community you usually start with the biggest issue first. The things that happen between the police and black individuals is a tragedy and no one is justifying those things, but when you compare the statistics side by side, you really have to question your priorities to improve your ethnic community.
27:51 so the fact that someone who doesn't indulge in the collective/hive-minded thinking, they are doing it to be famous? Not because they have their own individual beliefs, right? Okay.
32:56 how do you know the numbers if they don't get reported?
    36:44 *Nick Young meme face*
37:36 that shit is just fucked and shouldn't've happened.

A black mayor, surrounded by white people, paid by white people, administering a white community, serves at the behest of white people, so no, if he values his job, he'd see to it. The sense of urgency when it comes to handling municipal issues directly depends on the ethnic majority that lives there. This has been an ongoing problem for decades. The mindset is "If this group of people look like me, I can relate to them on an emotional level, and I feel compelled to help them"
The nightmarish murder rates that happen in gang-filled hoods like south Chicago or Camden, New Jersey is a result of a multiple ingredients that rotate in a cycle. The very creation of black ghettos in America was white initiated and white perpetuated. The decimation of the black family structure, if you study American history was intentionally government initiated and is self perpetuating. It created multiple generations of lost boys who mobbed together in the streets and of course turned to crime because there were next to no jobs in their community (white initiated), abysmal school systems (white initiated) and white owned businesses regularly discriminated/discriminate against blacks (the data on that is overwhelming). Then these street kids turn on each other in competition of course. The drug influx into minority communities in the 70s (white initiated) intensified the competition
Mass incarceration, which makes third party companies billions of dollars on cheap labor, begins during the "war on drugs". Turning young non violent offenders into hardened criminals to be released on the streets to create angry bastards to continue the cycle. Policing is/has been racially biased for 100 years (the data on that is overwhelming) targeting black males
The influence of hip hop music, which was also hijacked by white corporate entities to perpetuate negative images to these lost street kids had an influence
There are so many factors in the state of current black America 98% white initiated and perpetuated, that the fact that you aren't even aware of the existence of white surpemacy is hilarious. It's historical and present day fact

transcendentmuzic well just like they talked about in the video, if those blacks are surrounded by people who are corrupt they should sacrifice themselves for the greater good of blacks. It doesn't even matter about political power, that won't blacks in the least bit. By saying the blacks that are in those positions can't do their job because they are surrounded by whites is a cop out and excuse.
The nightmarish murder rates happened, because of the civil rights era. It's not a coincidence that when those events took place and acts were approved (Civil Rights Era), shit got bad for blacks in America. Crime rate went through the roof, babies born out of wedlock went through the roof, the percentage at which blacks graduated high school or even looked at college was low, and the decimation of the black family (like you said). If you connect white people to the govt, then I agree with you. But the bad decision aren't due to racism, it's due to incompetence. But you insinuate that things will get better when blacks are in office more, let's see how that goes.
If you agree that the system is targeting black males, then you agree that the system is targeting males in general since the prison system is mostly occupied by males. Perhaps, we need to also say that the system is sexist, it would be far better to come together as males in general and fight this injustice of males being incarcerated. Correct?
How was hip hop hijacked? At what point did rappers and investors not make a mutual agreement to profit off the demand of the terrible hip hop music we hear today? At what point was someone forced to rap and influence their community with their music?
There aren't too many factors. Show me an institution, or a law that holds blacks back today. I don't think people are against fighting against that, it's just weak arguments being brought up. When an argument is brought up, it's statistical, but just emotional-based. Using victims to push a political agenda.
