Check out this gnarly Rock section during the Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno! Shoutout to the guys on bikes that made it through without putting a foot down!
@@H43339 I know but I didn't want to say that. I've been a rider for many years, and I've been to a fair number of these type of races. It's easy to spot the experienced riders from the posers in the technical sections. Hey there're out there doin' it, livin' the dream, I'm just an observer.
Michael Dose, yes you have to give them credit for trying, But they are not very good riders, I rode for years but sold my CR500 when I turned 50, figured I had been lucky enough, I am 63 now and I am positive I could ride right through that section. Have Fun Good Luck !!
@@H43339 In fairness, there was a range of rider ability. Some of them picked a line and powered through. Others, looked at it, their body language said I don't have a clue and this is going to be ugly and it was. In any event thanks for your input, I appreciate your thoughts.
This race actually ends in our little town called Dayton, NV. We watched them rolling in this yr. They ride a lot of the trails we ride our side by side on.
Sad, enter a race like BAJA and can't ride across rocks any better than that. I hope that he made it to the finish line or he's still lost out there in the wilderness!
Being a geologist, I noticed all of the brightly colored jaspers and agates in those rocks. If I was racing a dirtbike through that, I doubt I'd be able to help myself from stopping and picking up a sample or two from there. With my teeth obviously, because I'm not so good on a dirtbike and I would definitely go face first over the handlebars through all of that nope.
Looks like the trick is to slide your weight back a little and maintain momentum with full commitment. Watching that one dude was painful! I bet he's regretting that party the night before! Lol
Rocks are hard to do when you're already tired. # 711 needs to find a different sport. The guy he was holding up was very nice about it, I'd a been pissed off.
Only the riders sitting more on the rear shock and let the front wheel relax to pop up easier are making it through. Everyone else applies to much pressure on the front forks. Plus the may not be dialed in for this.
You have to get in top of the rocks and not let the speed drop off or your SCREWED! And not in a good way. If any of those guys on motorcycles old lady's seen them riding through that rock pile they'll get laid again.
To add context, if these riders were fresh they would still struggle. Check the pants seat of some of the riders. Soaked. These guys are hot and tired.
YouTuba!! showing dirt bikes, could this be the start of something even greater!!!
Amazing watching the different skill levels on the bikes.
Some of those bike riders are Really Bad !!!

You can tell which guys have only ever rode MX before lol
Thanks for including the bikers and quads, its fun to see how different vehicles tackle those rocks.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
3:42 “DONT GET PICTURES OF THAT!“
“OK..”
Proceeds to upload it to the internet 😂
hahaha
Love the dirt bike and quad content!
Stop screwin around people! This is a fantastic channel with fantastic content! Doesn’t have nearly the subs it deserves?!? 🙏💪🏼🇺🇸
Im working on it! Thanks for watching.
That was fun watching all the classes coming through, and at the same time painful af.
4:55. Smashed it!
It’s Skyler Howes, that man can do it all lol
1:32 absolutely killed me. "Oh fuck, ROCKS!' lol Ya gotta commit, or you are screwed
Lol I’m pretty sure from his number he is Ironman class. It may have been “Really…Rocks…” lol
That guy was horrible. Need strengthen his core
Dirt bikes getting some footage too that’s what I like too see.
Love seeing the quads! It shows what we really go through in Baja so sick!🔥
The first quad was an angel for his patience with that biker.
I hope #711 made the finish line and not lost out there in the wilderness!
That was hard to watch, poor fellow needs to get back to camp. He looked completely exhausted!
Was that #711 first time on a moto?? Holy shite batman that was some seriously inept pushing....
700 numbers are Ironman class (whole thing solo). That dude was probably exhausted and over his limit.

Trophy trucks be like: rocks? Never heard of 'em
711 on the dirtbike is an absolute goof.
Sad, enter a race like BAJA and can't ride across rocks any better than that. I hope that he made it to the finish line or he's still lost out there in the wilderness!
Bike 711 should probably learn to ride prior to entering a competition
oof. one day when im an old man with enough money to go race that will be me eating shit on the rocks

Where is this spot located exactly?
5:32 excellent choice of path !!!!!
The cars made rocks more stable at the last but damn thise first one's for them bikes were hell😁
Number 711 is me. On one of those days. All of these start with "oh no, coffee is empty" 😅
01:00 🤘🏼😎🤙🏼
The suspension on the trucks is crazy cool.
I tried to cross rocks like that on a heavy xr650r- never again! 4 wheels are much steadier
Looks like the trick is to slide your weight back a little and maintain momentum with full commitment.
Watching that one dude was painful! I bet he's regretting that party the night before! Lol
I suspect motorcycle #711 is still trying to get off those rocks....
That's rough track
Looks tough tbh!!
Bring Graham Jarvis there...
For the absolute King of "Hard enduro" is just another day at the beach!
Graham Jarvis N°1 forever.
It's so much fun to ride.
Love it
After seeing this, I’d sooner be “in” than “on”
I wanted one of the Baja trucks to just pin it and launch rocks lmao
CRAP! - my shift lever got bent just WATCHING this - and I don't even OWN a bike...!
Gee's these guys on the bikes and quads need to learn some clutch and throttle finesse. Smooth is the key. These guys got the revs threw the roof lol.
Marked and filled in some holes 2 days ago before it rained right there
Donde es esa pasada?
That's why you don't take two wheels where only four should go! 😂
in fact it's the opposite, there are places where the two wheels go and the four don't.
Rocks are hard to do when you're already tired. # 711 needs to find a different sport. The guy he was holding up was very nice about it, I'd a been pissed off.
Are some of these clips old?
You can tell whose ride two track desert and whose ride some good single track, #711 smh man was struggling
Eye hand coordination
Only the riders sitting more on the rear shock and let the front wheel relax to pop up easier are making it through. Everyone else applies to much pressure on the front forks. Plus the may not be dialed in for this.
A couple of those guys have no business racing a bike
Race was vegas to reno but I bet 711 end somewhere in Utah
I want to know the length and breadth/width of that tunnel
The Virginia City GP was like that this year, but 25 miles with of that shit
Number 711= first time on a moto , number 11= a million time on a moto :)
Got to get back as far on the bike to get the front tire light
You have to get in top of the rocks and not let the speed drop off or your SCREWED! And not in a good way. If any of those guys on motorcycles old lady's seen them riding through that rock pile they'll get laid again.
the red one was drunk?
711 first day on a bike!
1:55 I'm not sure what's wrong but I feel bad for that guy
Some of those bike riders were good. Others, not so much.
A good time was had by all...
To add context, if these riders were fresh they would still struggle. Check the pants seat of some of the riders. Soaked. These guys are hot and tired.
When tired it is easy to tip over and picking the bike up makes you more tired. And repeat And repeat And repeat And repeat ...
Lemah
anyone with a cop siren needs to lose by default
every Truck/Car has a siren.
@@You-TUBA maybe it's a safety thing, but those guys are as annoying as all the whistlers along a downhill mountain bike race track
@@TokenTombstone hard to see if there's someone behind you when they're in your dust. It's a heads-up to move over or get nerfed
I know these races are supposed to be tough but that’s pretty much borderline stupidity for the motorcycles to drive through a boulder field

How many broken bones
Why place those rocks there . I'd fire someone.
And as you are killing your self some one like Colton haker goes by at 25 skimming across.🤔🤬🤬
