Props on the mechanic way of fixing something, not just part changing, I loved doing this stuff as a teen

I saw that you used the thicker o rings. Did you have any issues with them?

Set up a camera under your truck. Start with pointing the camera at one point of the steering system that moves like a tie rod get in the truck move the steering wheel back and forth slowly then quickly. Then move the camera to the next location that moves. Do all movement points then look at the video for any slack in all locations. What your looking for is let's say your on a tie road end watch your bar going across if it's moving and not moving your spindle at the same time you have play. If everything is tight you might have to tighten the nut on top of your steering box. There Is some videos on here how to do it. Make sure you don't overdo it. It will ruin your box pretty quick

@@Nitrorednecks i have done that and seen the play on the connecting section where the 24 balls insdie gearbox are at.i have Tightened the gearbox to the point of it pushing the inside and scratched the inner housing.the play is inside that shaft where the 24 balls belong.i looked to see if they sold that part but no such luck. Thank you though for the reply i really appreciated it.if its ok i can show record the play to show you .

Obviously this video is for the budget handicapped people who can’t afford a new pump and renting of the pulley puller and press kit from Auto Zone. No need to play with o-rings and cleaning everything.

Haha well here in canada we dont have the luxury of having an auto zone to rent tools and for the pump this is cheaper and the the only one they had in stock that day. I ain't no city boy that has big auto part stores. Here we have to wait 2 or 3 days for our stuff. So yah I hope that clears that up for you.. 🤣

And another thing you will still need a pulley and a press they dont come on a bracket. 🤨 Also if someone was handicap wouldn't it be easier for them to get a complete pump like you do ? Wouldn't a handicap have a hard time to figure out the o rings and shit ? 🤣🤣🤣 So before you comment go try to work on something youreself. You sound like one of them guys who has a 100 dollar socket set in your shop just to say hes a man. But in reality you take your shit to the shop to get fixed but dont worry you're still half a man..🤣🤣
