After about 2months, he was correct.
He is probably going to continue with challenges and more funny content as a practice for the new updates as they have totally changed minecraft. We need to have enough experience for this new version as it's harder now to get ores and the deepslate block takes a million years to mine through. He is going to practice and upload them as challenge videos for sure.

HERE ME OUT (video idea)- "Speed runner vs 6 hunters manhunt but one is a spy". this way we still get the manhunt but keep things interesting cuz someone on the hunters side is a spy for dream messing up their plans. also could make it so no one know who the spy is, making them turn on themselves

He could try doing manhunt with mods, it would be awesome as theres a lot of amazing mods that completely change the gameplay and would give him more opportunities for traps and clutches

Sadly everything comes to an end at some point. Furthermore, you don't see him fighting 10 hunters, right? At some point he would reach a limit and would have to end the series or think about a change, and that will take a long while to decide since manhunt is so meaningful in his channel
When he said “the next manhunt could be the last manhunt ever” they were just talking about how the 5 hunter series is going. That it’s 2 wins for dream and 2 wins for the hunters. I think he said that it could be the last manhunt ever because if he loses a best of 5 the entire manhunt series ends. The reason why this whole series has been continuing is because he’s been winning each best of 5. So if the hunters would of been able to get 3 wins in a best of 5 then the whole manhunt series “ends”. And it makes sense that it would end too. Because let’s say for example if he loses the next manhunt video so he lost the best of 5 vs 5 hunters then why would he do 6 hunters if he can’t win the best of 5 vs 5 hunters. If he can’t win the best of 5 vs 5 hunters then he probably won’t win the best of 5 vs 6 hunters.
That was all said by him also when purple said it could be the end of manhunt
um I think that's not he meant because in previous manhunts also this scenario arrived but in it, he didn't say something like that maybe it can be or maybe he isn't confident enough cause he didn't make a fantastic play in the previous 2 manhunts and the last one was not so likely to be as good as previous ones

I feel like I miss Dream's old videos where it was just random challenges with his friends. Manhunt has taken over the channel. While it's been interesting, I feel like I more enjoyed the more creative twists on things, including the alternate forms of manhunt (like Minecraft Assassian)

honestly i feel dream will do a reverse manhunt were like it's one hunter vs 2 hunter vs 3 hunters etc i feel that while it is similar it could be cool also i think some people (including me) are getting somewhat bored of manhunt sooo like a bit of minecraft but content could be interesting

I dont think that the concept of his videos are dying, its just too repeating for me, a solution to that would be making videos on stuff similar to what he already done like the speedrunners vs bot video (my favourite one by far)
I hope he doesn't end the manhunt series forever,because it's one of the main reasons why minecraft is still alive and strong.

Dream doing a manhunt where he has to kill the wither isn't a bad idea
I think what dream should do is start doing the manhunt matchups, like the one he did with illumina with other creators example: Technoblade, Fruitberries etc.

Dream has so many options going forwards.
He can make some content that people would LOVE, such as him playing games or collabing with other creators.
Honestly, if he can expand his content into a reach in which can help the success of the manhunts, it would be great.
There can be big problems if Dream raise the hunter count up. Also it's completely subjective, but I feel like Dream's newer manhunts are getting stale because he is milking the series. So mixing it up can be good.
i suppose so, plus there are many ways he could change the rules of the game (e.g: certain time limits in the nether)
also, i think it depends on your view on how it's getting stale. dw i'm not trying to say that your opinion is wrong, but i think the manhunts are not getting stale, but the shortening of the videos and the lessened amount of random bits in the videos feels off
Easiest way to fix it is to give the Speed runner more hearts
Theres also the question of is more numbers less effective, like if you got 6000 people to dig a 1 metre deep hole it might take longer than 15 people

I would love to see some more variety in dreams videos. Since the 3 Hunters series, there has always been the rematches and finales in the right order. I just think that Dream would get less and less views if this will continue. Variety content like hitmen, 2v6 or 2v7 would for me definitely be exciting to see
Dream should stay solo but it should be like Dream hunting down the hunters while the hunters protect George until George beats the Ender Dragon and etc.

I love manhunts and it will go down as one of the best things that happened to minecraft. But i think its a good idea for dream to end or pause it. If you think about it manhunt is like a tv show or movie where if the series is too stretched it looses quality overtime. I know everyone will miss it and Dream is likely to loose some of his viewership, but in the long run its better.
The 6th hunter better be Skeppy, Karl, Technoblade, Tommy, Ranboo, or Quackity
1. Techno? Nope, too good, the guy can literally 1v1 dream and win a decent amount of times, and with sapnap? And with the other 4 hunters? Nah, that’s impossible for dream. 2. Tommy? Nope a bit too chaotic 3. Ranboo? Eh idk, maybe 4. Quackity? Probably not 5. Karl? Definitely a possible hunter 6. Skeppy? Maybe. I’m pretty sure dream has said this before but it’s obvious that the hunters are CLOSE friends with dream, like the 5 hunters he’s known for years. He’ll probably choose Karl out of the 6 u said because he plays with them a lot and is the closest to the hunters and dream than most of the dsmp members. But I would love to see techno or the sleepy bois in a manhunt, like in a manhunt matchup (the manhunt spin-off series that dream forgot about) sorry for the long reply, but idk, just wanted to say this :p

Techno would be better in a 1 speedrunner 1 hunter. If I had to chose, I would say the 6th hunter should be Karl or Skeppy.
The 6th Hunter could be Illumina or Punz or Ranboo or Eret or HBomb94

I will support dream whatever he makes because see whatever he is making, he loves making it and till dream will love making videos his videos will be amazing. Also Speedrunner vs speedrunner ft; IlluminaHD would be a great concept, they both will try to speedrun the game and whoever gets the achievement first, the person wins.

I think that there will be a good sized break before the 6 hunters. There are so many manhunts that, as fans, we're a little oversaturated with his greatness, so it doesn't hit the same way. It's similar to how the DreamSMP died down a lot, because we just got too used to it. There needs to be a period of time with no manhunt so we can be like "we miss manhunts" before the true hype can come back.
Also the fact that so many people make videos (including myself) that break down every bit of manhunts as well as attempt Dream's plays. It's awesome to do, but it also removes a lot of the mystery of how good Dream is, which takes away from a lot of the magic.
Long story short, there's just too much content surrounding Dream's manhunts for it to hit the same. Give it a year or so and he'll be able to upload another and it'll get the same amount of hype as before.
how I interpret this IN MY WAY:
Dream will take a long break after finale rematch 5 hunters because lets face it: The more hunters there are, the harder it gets. That's why Dream's win:loss ratio is getting worse every hunter added. Every person he adds is skilled at the game so 6 hunters would be extremely difficult, even for the likes of Dream considering the next member is as skilled as the current five. He will probably take a break to test everything possible in every new version for a trap good enough to even give him a CHANCE to win. Because of the new cave generations stacking up to iron armor and diamond axe/sword takes about 10-15 minutes maximum with 6 people working together at once. Dream has to find a trap so good that it will be very effective and stealthy.

2 months after.OH BOY WERE U RIGHT,he made a poster and a hype for his final manhunt still 5 hunter series.Dream has mentioned that his spin offs,hitmen and other stuff alike were performing well.So maybe that was his idea to finish this last 5 hunters and to move to spin-offs and his standard challanges.
I reckon maybe mix challenge videos and manhunts. Like minecraft manhunt but there are custom hearts, there is a traitor who is actually helping me, gold items are op, etc.

Honestly I think some of the Manhunt view problems could be just title confusion. Until I heard another Minecrafter talking about it I didn't even realize there'd been 2 more videos I hadn't even seen..lol, they'd probably popped up on my feed and I'd scrolled past thinking they were the ones I'd already watched. You mentioned the editing too, and that was a bit of a problem I had with some of the later Manhunts..there'd be lots of cuts that sometimes cut out things that make you stop and wonder what happened.
1:41 is the reason I feel it won’t continue because every world u spawn in is always surrounded by what it feels like an Infinite ocean. Maybe it’s just a Nintendo Switch thing but if it isn’t then yes, I think it’s going to end
I got an idea for Dream.
2 People Running and 6 Hunters, it'll make it easier on Dream. If he dies, then there will one last chance of hope to win.
a nice idea is 1 vs 5 tag manhunt where dream is hunting all of them before the 5 team beats the enderdragon but if Dream kill anyone that person shifts to Dream's team and helps him hunt the others.
I think the most likely is he does team manhunts with other speedrunners, such as illumina, or a close friend with whom he has insane synergy, like sapnap. It could make it a lot cooler as he has to communicate more, and mentor them to excel as a team
I mean, for the 5 hunters finale and final rematch, it was exam month (s) for half the world, (mostly Asia), ppl were studying and stuff, maybe if he timed the manhunt uploads like right after exam months, it would do better but we can’t blame him bc still he’s not responsible for our time management.

It’s also possible that dream wants to focus on MCC, the SMP or other major Minecraft projects that are going on. He’s also recently talked about doing irl content with his friends which would take time away from prepping for manhunts. He posts a manhunt every month or two and has to maintain and you could even say improve all that skills that go into manhunt. This could cause a lot of conflicting when he had to work on training for mcc, the smp, and maybe even other things he might be looking at getting involved in. A lot of other Minecraft you tubers have been heavily involved in community projects, tournaments, and gameplay throughout the years. A lot of them have played on the same servers, done content together, and been in the same competitions. Just like at the relationship between Tommyinnit and Wilbur. They’ve played on multiple SMP’s together as well as done tons of content with each other. Or even techno and Philza, both participated in Minecraft Monday and have been playing on servers with each other for years as well as they’ve done content together. While dream has had this relationship with George and Sapnap it’s possible he wants to expand this with others. His real passion seems to be getting involved with other content creators and helping them blow up or gain exposure. If anyone watched him train and practice with Ranboo for MCC he seemed throughly happy and in form. While I understand he may enjoy manhunt, he may be tired of all the work that goes in behind the scenes to making the magic happen.
I think 4+ hunters is actually worse than 2-3 hunters.. Because it becomes much harder to come up with clever ideas and traps for 4+ hunters that can kill them all.
Personally I think dream is gonna add in a second speedrunner if he's gonna continue at all. He's outnumbered 5 to 1 and adding a 6th hunter atm would be crazy considering how even, and well how hard it is to keep that going its stressful. Adding a second speedrunner would not only take some weight off dream, but make things more difficult for the hunters. Cause ngl the hunters have it pretty easy just having to pursue one target
Dream's Minecraft Manhunt was the only series that really catched my attention in a long time, I felt true enjoyment watching each one of those videos, so I hope it keeps going
if manhunt is really going to end, i think dream should do some kind of "spin-offs", like, manhunt with different hunters, manhunt with multiple speedrunners, manhunt without rules and that kind of stuff
To be honest, all of his manhunt extras had him saying "maybe we'll do a rematch, if we get likes" and sometimes he just said "idk if we'll do another" so therefore his recent credit saying it might be the final one is hogwash to me. He's brilliant at getting his watchers to crave more content, he wants us to be excited, so of course he's going to tantalize the idea of a "final" manhunt
I absolutely think he'll do a 6 hunters series. Besides, Boosfer already did one, so of course Dream is up for par.
The only person I've seen making a 6 Hunter Manhunt was Boosfer (vs Kier, Dev, YelloWool, Bubbo, Qndres and Jackattack). It was very fun to watch, but let's be real, their manhunts are very creative in hundreds of ways thanks to the twists they all put, while Dream always does usual manhunts with the same hunters all the time, and still be creative in every video nonetheless. I think that probably collabing with other CZcamsrs and MC CCs on manhunts could give a fresh breath to manhunts too.

With the 2 runner idea I think dream would need a second runner in 7 hunters so maybe tecnoblade bc he is very good at the game as well

I personally think there might be a second series of manhunt but with a few changes such as mods, rule changes, new goals and limitations, etc.
I really want to see Minecraft Speedrunner vs Slayer Rematch, Dream and Bad are kind of an underrated, interesting duo. I'd also like to see Minecraft Manhunt but the hunters only have one life (like the random item challenge but without the random items) and Dream has to kill all of them.
Manhunt is just one of the interesting things he does. I kinda like the death swaps or just the other challenges they do.

I feel like Dream is going to do a spinoff where he kills the Wither instead. He mentioned the possibility of that all the way back in the 3 hunters Grand Finale extra scenes. It's been nearly 18 months, so I think he's probably going to do it soon.
In my opinion, Dream has a lot of options. He can make more manhunt videos, he can add another speed runner to the manhunt series, he can make a series such as a “modded manhunt”.

I think if he does do six hunters, his sixth hunter actually has to bring something worth watching to the table. I think Sam is cool but he didnt bring much of an impact, just like AntFrost. Im not saying to bring someone like tommy, but you need something new for each hunter

im also a bit mixed. i liked dreams late 2019 content (minecraft but challenges and stuff). but it's worth noting that he has other games similar to manhunt that are just as entertaining (survivalist vs hitmen, random items, etc). i don't think anything will replace manhunt proper, but i would like to see dream reach his full potential with video ideas rather than being handcuffed by what appeals to the masses. as much as i enjoy manhunt, i think change is for the better

Taking a break would be a good idea. In future manhunts, He could include more hunter views in the vids, and less hunters is a good idea (the call is louder than an school) but they should be as good as dream as they can get, so maybe like a 3 hunter video with one of them being, like, Technoblade, is in my opinion a good idea

I have a few ideas on how dream could make his manhunts more interesting and possibly challenging and one of them is as well killing the Ender dragon you have to kill the wither or he tries his manhunts on bedrock edition instead of Java edition
IMO dream should still upload manhunt but a bigger break in between each one and in that break I would love to see him do more pvp (minigames) or even things like bedwars or the bridge.

Dream could just make manhunts but instead of adding people he would just do like new ideas and new mechanics. And maybe even get into 1.8 manhunts, it would be a lot harder because of all the spam, but it would be sick watching 5 people in 1.8 fighting one man, and he should out play then like how 1.8 pvpers would play. Like obsidian trap or block clutches in the air when pvping. But he would also mainly play on 1.16

Its not declining views his first 5 hunters video was 7 months ago with over 60 million view his most recent one 20 mil in 13 days on a linear scale that would be an exploding video so I dont think his videos are dying and it will never will hopefully btw great job purple keep up the good work
