    How to change oil and oil filter on Yamaha Xmax 300 instructions.
    You need 8mm keys for filter cover, and 12mm for oil screw.
    Filter and oil type is on links below. If you not changing oil filter, only just oil, you need 1,5 liters of oil. If you changing filter and oil you need 1,6 liters of oil.
    After service is done reset oil service interval on digital dashboard, it is easy, all steps are in video. After that just turn engine on for few minutes to heat up oil and see real oil level. Do not put more than maximum, somewere in middle is fine. Look at oil level sometimes, and if it is lower refil it.
    Oil: Motoul 5100 10W40
    Oil filter: Hiflo HF 141

    I advise you to use the 7100 series.
    Motul 7100 10w40 ESTER.
    The oil for your motorcycle requires 100% synthetics.
    This is Euro 4 and not Euro 3

      yamaha says in the manual to use yamalube which is semi synthetic. why synthetic is better?

    • @mariorokavec1511
      @mariorokavec1511 Před 2 lety +1

      @@chrisw4215 Yamalube has no advanced oils. see the table regarding API standards and see yamalube API standard flag.
      Yamaha knows that the oil they have will not damage the engine and that the engine will work very nicely and that is why they recommend it, they want to make money and that is it.
      Of course, all this does not mean that we have to pour such outdated oils, especially since we are talking about Euro 4 and euro 5 generators.
      API: SN is the right option.
      On top of that, the Motul 7100 has ESTER additives that reduce friction inside the cylinder.
