Hauling the lobster pots, & drift netting for trout on the first of the flood tide. Boat sea fishing

  • Well after the last two trips rescuing tangle crab gear, I finally managed to get on the lobster pots. They have been in far too long, and we all know how easily they escape. Well the pots had been in 4 weeks and nearly 3 weeks, so a very long time! We then decided to have a quick drift over Yarmouth point for trout on the first of the flood.

    your net needs to be fishing ontop of the water to catch the trout , your net is fishing about a fathom below the surface

      Ive got surface nets, but it theres any trout caught near the surface, the seals take everyone

    Worth a try I suppose, don't the seals eat jellyfish, I think it's used in some Asian countries? You could have had jellyfish and chips, take care, Norfolk Ray
