    How to take your old ford escort rs turbo recaro car seat or any racing style car seat apart and repair ripped or torn covers repair fix or replace foams or bolsters or base foam and webbing in a car seat.
    In this 1 part video I show you how to fully repair and restore a classic car seat. I do a full restoration on a set of series one rsturbo recaro seats and show you how to make them look like new.
    I show how to repair the car seat foams and use steam to get there shape back and fix broken bolsters and sagging cloth covers, I even show you how to repair holes in the car seats and a special truck to get the foams back to there old full shape and springy again.

    Looks real good man!!
    You can also use a course sanding wheel on a drill or Dremel to shape the foam, a lot quicker and more precise. Spandex material is real good to use, because it still allows the foam to flex, while holding it all together.

    I've the capri ones and I need new bolster cover velour type and the 2.8 raiser silly money I refuse to pay that at the moment so I've put some old gl seats in🙂

    Hi, how do you remove the head rests?

      you can remove them when you feel around the post in the seat there is the top of a r clip push that in as pull the head rest up and out of the seat.

    Hello, I have a pair of 1981 Recaro LW seats (similar to LX and LS}, they have a panel on the rear of the backrest. The fabric has detached from the panel. I want to repair it. Can you explain how to remove the panel? I have called Recaro and they could not help. Thanks
