ASMR Zzzzzen garden (oddly satisfying)

Two days ago when I finished shooting this video I was very satisfied and ready to clean up all the mess that I had done. I felt as if I had just come back from Sahara desert after having a serious fight with a bunch of angry camels. The sand was literally everywhere. It is not as bad as you think - I was telling to myself. Unfortunately the mess was nothing in comparison to what happened in the next day.
Recording studio tidied up, I'm well-rested and ready to edit. I made myself comfortable and then started moving all of the raw footage to the timeline. If only you could see my face when I realised there is no audio in the video files from a camera. It turned out that I accidently turned off the built-in camera mic. I still have the separately recorded audio, but how am I supposed to synch it with the video when there is no audio? Of course the only way to do it is synch it visually, so the next couple of hours I was looking for the parts in which the stone was dropped and tried to match it with the separately recorded audio.
After I finished I went to the kitched to have something to drink. My roommate was cooking something there. I looked at her suspiciously and well, there was definitely something wrong with her face. After a minute or so, finally I realised what it was and told her right away that she drew her eyebrows too high. She seemed surprised. : D
Then I went back to my studio and succesfully finished editing.
I know there are already quite a lot of ASMR videos in which zen gardens were used, so this is probably not the most original idea.However what I've noticed is that in most of these videos the sound is really poorly recorded. There is always either not enough amplification or too much background noise. Now after making this video I think I know what is the reason. If you want to nicely pick up the sound of racke running through the sand, you really need to crank the gain almost all the way up. Otherwise you will end up with a footage almost entirely deprived of sound - and this is not exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately increasing the gain so high will make the background noise very hard to remove. So, to make the long story short - I decided to leave the urge of completely removing the background noise in exchange for louder and crisper sound.

I made a zen garden for my kids and explained that they could use it when they feel angry or stressed or any bad feeling and that it will bring them peace...this video was actually helpful to introduce it visually.

I tried that to but they were killing small animals and writing demonic sigils with the blood on the sand. A bit worried but also proud, they did some decent research!

my mom and dad made a mini Zen garden out back for me on my 8th birth day in a little crate. I still have it but a few rocks are missing, but I've had it for 3 years, cause I'm 11 now. My little brother took the rocks.

I can honestly say that I never realized how relaxing listening to a zen garden being put together could be and I'm so glad I chose your video over the soap cutting I got started on cause this has done exactly what I needed it to so I'm not so pent up and depressed. My sister had a zen garden in her room in a small box like asmr surge's and it had box with real salt rock from my dad because he works at the mine and if you know the unboxing bath bomb toy were you can win tiny piece of gold and on the outside on the sand there was shiny stones and a real succulent plant in a pot when my sister was at school I took care of the zen garden like raking the sand making sure everything is in place and watering the plant.

Well, as a human being I need to breathe from time to time to stay alive. I mentioned in the video description that I had to crank the gain almost all the way up in order to pick up the sound of rake running through the sand, and unfortunately with such settings the microphones become so sensitive that you can literally hear even the most indistinctive sounds. When you gently touch your fingers together you can definitely hear it as a quite loud thud. The mask would't help here at all. Actually it could make it even worse as the air coming from my nose would be blocked by the surface of the mask - what would make the breathing sound even weirder (Darth Vader effect) . I know that the breathing may be distracting for some of the viewers but if I didn't make the soud louder this video would be almost completely deprived of sound and this is not exactly what we are looking for. :)
Asmrsurge Staying alive is important. I like the breathing though, it makes it more comforting, in a way. :)
