    I always wondered if Aaron is aware of or at least thought of how Robert and Liv dealt with his issues and how they themselves made their way through Aarons tough times. Being always at his side and there for him. How they were affected and how they coped. Or where they get the power and strengh from to pull through all this. They had to be so strong and stick together. And that's the start and the reason of Robert's and Liv's special bond. So Liv didn't only speak out for herself and explained her reasons but spoke on behalf of Roberts feelings too. Because she witnessed first hand how Robert coped - and often didn't, especially during the time that Aaron had been away in prison. You could see in Robert's eyes how much he was emotionally moved by Liv's words because they touched on some very true and deeply hidden spots in Roberts heart. Robert's face and especially his eyes showed it all. But Aaron didn't turn and look to Robert to see his quiet but so emotional reaction to Liv's words. Aaron should have! Look how your beloved husband feels right now. But Aarons answer to Liv showed that sadly he didn't get what Liv was trying so harshly explain to him. I totally get why Liv was so upset at the end. And kudos to Robert who managed to stay this calm and reasonable in all this mess!

    😲 That was just about everything I needed to hear about Aaron. I’ve said for a long time now it’s the all Aaron show, all the time when it comes to the roblivion dynamic. Still broke my heart to hear her say it. They’re both so, so young.

    I never thought I'd say that, but I agree with everything Liv said. Robert Sugden Dingle I love him so much

      Not all of what she said was true. Aaron is damaged in alot of ways but Liv needs to admit she is as well and take responsibility

      Nancy Cottone So she, the kid, should take responsibility? If you were listening that was what she was trying to do with the drinking. Aaron was supposed to be the adult but she soon learned that his destructive ways of dealing with things meant she couldn't rely on him. So she found her best way to cope. It's still not right but it's Aaron's fault she had to resort to that.

    • @nancycottone2155
      @nancycottone2155 Před 6 lety

      Yeah but Aaron is the way he is because of Gordon, You can't blame him for damage that was done to him. And from what she said about her mom I think her issues go beyond Aaron

    • @kendon0923
      @kendon0923 Před 6 lety +3

      Nancy Cottone You're pretty much making Liv's point for her. Aaron is damaged so she can't go to him with problems because his damage causes him to react in unpredictable ways so she had to cope on her own.

  • @zanthus7
    @zanthus7 Před 6 lety +25

    Wow. I was not expecting Liv to be that truthful with Aaron but glad she did it. Aaron needs to hear how his self-destructive ways affects everyone close to him. His family feels they have to handle him with kids gloves or hide things from him to keep him from reacting in a destructive manner. Liv is a teenage girl who goes thru teenage crap and Aaron has to be strong enough to handle her problems to help her overcome them or learn to live with them.

    heard what Liv talked remind me of what her brother has been through, from Jackson, the sex abuse, the affair with Robert, Katie's death, prison...and see how strong Aaron is. That's why I love Aaron so much

    • @troysmith6150
      @troysmith6150 Před 5 lety +3

      Who the hell thinks Aaron is strong? Coming to terms with being gay: Aaron attempts suicide. Jackson's assisted suicide aftermath: Aaron cuts himself. Katie's death aftermath: Aaron cut himself and runs himself half to death. The sex abuse: Aaron cuts and burns himself and commits GBH. Prison: Aaron gets hooked on spice. The Rebecca affair: Aaron cuts himself and almost bashes Robert's head in with a large wrench.
      Aaron is my favorite character because he's soft and vulnerable. He's a beautiful mess. But the reality is he can't cope under stress. Because of his mother abandoning him with his father who sexual abused him, he's mentally ill and needs counselling to sort things out. Still love him though.

    Damn I felt every single one of those shots Liv fired at Aaron. Damn she took off the kid gloves and went for the jugular.
    I know Aaron had his childhood trauma to deal with but Liv has her problems too and she just couldn't rely on Aaron to help her deal with them. And Aaron would never admit to taking on more than he could chew with suddenly becoming a parent to a teenager. And Liv is right; Chas, Paddy, Cain, Robert et al all do tend to handle him with kids gloves most of the time because they are afraid of how he'll react.

    • @nancycottone2155
      @nancycottone2155 Před 6 lety

      well can you blame them. But Aaron has gotten better and is doing his best, Liv chose to handle things the way she has, and she also had other people around her beside's Aaron like Lisa and Chas. Maybe she should go back to her mother

    • @kendon0923
      @kendon0923 Před 6 lety +3

      Nancy Cottone The reason she is with Aaron was because her mother was such a mess. Aaron was supposed to be better and he turned out to just be a disappointment as well.
      Chas and the rest of the family can't be there all the time. And Robert is basically 'step-dad' and they tend to have negligible influence over teenagers they didn't raise. It was supposed to be Aaron and he just didn't step up well. He basically just gave her a roof and left her to her own devices.

    WOW. Bit harsh, but actually Liv is telling Aaron some home truths. And Robert is trying to be like Switzerland or Scandinavia, a neutral voice of reason.

      Starshii hi those two episode's were hard to satch well done liv but not all Aaron's fault her own mother couldn't cope so what has a big brother to do and yes some blame is on him but she alone stole the drink nobody asked her to but she loves Aaron and Robert so it will all come right in the end with help x

    • @Starshii
      @Starshii Před 6 lety +1

      Hi! Liv's outburst was sort of intriguing. What she said where half truths and teenager lashing out for sure, but at the same time what she says is true, from her perspective. And her criticisms of Aaron was genuine. once again from her perspective. IDK, I think what Liv said really made Aaron think, which can only be a good thing? Actions And Consequences, Actions And Consequences...

    I think he should not have used Gordon as a example. He should have told her about his grandpa Shadrack, he drank until it killed him

    I agree liv is right it has always been about how aaron feels i know he has been through a lot but so has liv and she is still a child and aaron seems to have forgotten that and not been a parent to her and he used wrong example about drinking with gordon and her and robert trying to be there for both of them

  • @chrisw6704
    @chrisw6704 Před 6 lety +4

    Whilst there may be bits of truth in what Liv says, she fails to acknowledge not only her problem with alcohol but that she imposed herself on Aaron (and Robert) from the beginning. No one asked her to stay with them. Then when Aaron went to prison she was afraid she would be sent back to Sandra, it was only because Robert reassured her that he would look after her that she was able to stay. Likewise at the time of the break up Liv wasn't there she was in Mauritius (which suddenly became Ireland) with her ill mum. Though regardless of her Mum and Chas she eventually did a runner and turned up at the Mill. Whilst I think Isobel is a fine actor I don't like the ungrateful character Liv who is take, take, take and gives back very little but abuse in return.

    Tutta questa storia mi sembra assurda e ridicola!Mi sembra di rivivere la scena di quando c'era Aaron in prigione e spinse via Robert! Andiamo,ma questo scrittori non hanno un minimo di fantasia?Basta per favore!!
