You show what gold colour is. The original yellowish gold is cheap looking; your metallic solid gold is gorgeous and elegant. What a big difference!
The blue colour you made is very vibrant and royal. This blue enhances the appeal of the armour.
I like the head without hamlet. The face of Thor seems to be handsomer when he wears this gold and blue armour. The head and armour match very well.
Your magic fixing has made the armour and helmet look more metallic. The original gold colour looks too plastic and a bit weird. An awesome upgrade! 👍👍👍
There are 2 versions of the chest piece in the movie. That silver one when he first wears the suit with the helmet then the blue one through out the movie.

I’ve seen it four times and he switches from the silver to the blue chest piece right after the failed bifrost attempt scene. When you see Thor talking to Mjonir while it’s on the barrel before getting on the boat you’ll notice the chest piece changed there 👍
It seems easy to fix the storm breaker. However, it is not. There are only two colours in the storm breaker. With high skills, the toy-like storm breaker turns to be a deadly and powerful weapon. I think only you can do it.
I love how you managed to make the figure desirable, awesome work. The silver parts of the armor on the chest should've remained silver, though. That's how the, let's say it fully armored version, was in the movie. But let's not stick to that. I would've also liked a Dark World head swap with this one, cause it fits his hair look better for this movie.
For those who were wondering why some of the figures aren't as screen accurate, one of the big reasons is that these toys take months to engineer and Hasbro will often have to go off over concept art rather than the final result. Now I do think they can do better with some figures like with painting and such but straight 1 to 1 creations from the film might be much to ask for if we/they want to get the toys out in time for the movie.

Well done. The SHF version looks a lot like yours in terms of colors. The cheap not accurate Marvel Legends version was the reason I preordered the SHF Version.

6:58 this is exactly it. All figures have set price points by retailers, so paint and plastic colors are limited to those price points, what's profitable to both the retailer and the company (in this case Hasbro). Due to inflation and rising oil costs, paint applications needed to be cut down on. That's also a problem with Transformers not being completely accurate while their Japanese counterparts have more paint because of their market not having set price points.
This is also why SH Figuarts and the like have more accurate paint schemes while having very high prices, because again the Japanese retailers do not have set price points or having to cater to children as well as adult collectors.

I will say I do prefer the brighter colors to Thor over the darker, more serious looking costume.
That might be my favorite Thor figure you've done so far!
Hasbro lowers our expectations so much that when they give us a cape with the right red we act as if they gave us something spectacular.

The blue chest is used in the film when he doesn’t wear the Helmet or the armor in the arms, maybe an arms swap would work even better! Great transformation the gold looks so much better now
I thought so too but when he gives the speech to rally Asgard he isn’t fully armored up and still has the silver. It’s the following scene when Mjolnir is on the barrel while Thor is talking to it that the chest changes to blue from silver. I’ve seen it four times and still notice different things.

Great video and nice job but made me smile when you say "they made the figure like if they want to sell toys to kids". That's exacly what it's made for. Kids are less difficult about toys apperances.

Mmmmmm 🤔 try mixing in a small amount of warm / reddish brown. If that's too dark, maybe a bright / mango yellow?

I love Thor with a helmet, but in this costume, Ravager Thor's helmet looks awesome on this figure
Actually the chest is silver when he wears the helmet and the armor...it's only blue when he is not wearing the armor ..so silver was the correct color

I tried to paint my ms marvel figure becuase her suit is light not like in ms marvel series her suit has little bit dark blue and dark red color. So i paint her and she looks good and i can't believe i just do that, and btw you are so good at this

Anyway you can list all the paints you used too. I got some gold paint at the hobby store but when I put it on it just smears. Did you varnish it first? And what gold and blue paints did you use.

While the Infinity War Strombreaker mold is better and has more detail... it isn't accurate to how it appeared in the movies. My biggest issue with the new ones are, Hasbro uses this really soft plastic. It can't even support its own weight.

Bro silver pits of chest is other suit and in that photo other. When he meets jane he was having this suit and than without helmet and sleeves it is blue chest pits.pls remove that blue colour
