Nakia is such an underrated yellow ranger. She deserves to be involved in more reunions.
She was my first yellow since i've started watching with turbo
I loved how they used archive audio for Austin, Thuy, Jason, and Amy instead of getting new actors. We know they weren't involved, but still nice to hear them instead of random actors. I just wish they would have done more with Adam and Aisha.
I noticed that Jason's grunts weren't even Austin St. John but sounded more like Troy from Megaforce, even Jason substitute actor from Season 2 did a better job

Amy and Thuy were on point, Jason and Tommy were clearly off. The off-screen morph at the graveyard was definitely an archive though, it was spot on.
But Adam and her are not original rangers and Kat and Rocky or not either they were add on

Can we all just stop and appreciate how they matured Billy into a wiser version of himself who actually makes mistakes?
Being the smartest person in the room and knowing the smartest course of action are two different things, and I loved how this special established that even his intelligence has limits in foresight
I loved that about Zack too
He’s making a morally ambiguous choice from the beginning and onward, but he makes it clear and obvious it’s because he cares about Minh.
He doesn’t give her advice on how to get the power, he doesn’t tell her to give up revenge so she can get the power. He tells her to get up revenge because that’s not what he wants for her. He wants her to be happy, to rise above that petty need.
In doing that, she stays determined, all three showed their humanity in this, and I loved it so much
I always thought it was funny to really look at the evolution of Billy, in season 1 he's a hyperintellectual that doesn't really speak in layman's terms at all, and then he gradually grows in martial arts prowess, gets more confident gets more muscles, and then in Zeo he's just in a main support role and he's very personable with everyone. To now where he feels like a real person and not just the idea of what a nerd is. Like they said in here he's more like Iron Man now. Albiet with a higher moral code lol
Normally the ‘smartest people’ making deadly mistakes comes down to arrogance, and a self belief that they can never make mistakes ever so they never consider it a possible outcome. Like the Illuminati in Marvel.
With Billy though, his mistake was essentially emotion clouding his reason because he wanted to bring his father figure back. Billy was normally calculating, but this time he showed a truly human side that love makes you do crazy things, and you’d do whatever you could to save family. Truly selfless. It was a great moment. He had evolved. It had disastrous consequences but it doesn’t take away that he tried to do the right thing for someone else.
I love how Cat rides for her best friend 🎉
Catherine’s performance was so good. I want more. They need to develop that arc with more mini or full movies.
I’m 30 years old this special made me cry ! This movie was really good. Straight to the point, cheesy, full of nostalgia & call backs, and it was emotional!
The only thing is I just wished to see more OG rangers -I shed a tear during the end I ain’t gonna lie.

If you two (Cat & Nakia) read this comment, like other fans, I two like to express that I appreciate Nakia's character as well as the other casts who played the rangers, especially Blake Foster, who played Justin, the boy who both Kat And Tanya supported like big sisters and motherly figures (which seem to be my personal favorite moments). And like how the other fans expressed, I personally will love to see you, Nakia, on screen with the other rangers, & back in action, along with Blake Foster. It would be a great reunion to see many of the Rangers, who were recruited by Zordon (which Blake's character, Justin, was the last recruit) to reunite. And above all, thanks for the special, and keep up the good work. "Once a Power Ranger, always a Power Ranger".
OMG Catherine, I loved Once and Always it was a great anniversary special and a great Tribute to Trini/Thuy Trang and JDF 💛💚 and also the special as a whole was just amazing Catherine and I hope this special leads to more cause there’s so much potential and I hope we see more specials and a 10 episode series and of course a ZEO special with Nakia as Tanya cause Tanya deserves more love and hope that happens and thank you Catherine 💛💖💛💖

I don't get emotional but I was saddened when they dedicated the Netflix special to Jason and Thuy. They will be missed greatly 😭😭😭
Nakia you're so right, Bulk & Skull should have been included to complete that MMPR feel. Another special should include more of Kat---she continues to step up in place of others and it's her time to be in the spotlight. BRING BACK THE SUPERCHAT DANCE YAAY. I've been a fan of MMPR since the very beginning, and back then never could my little brain have conceived that 30 years later something like Once and Always would, or even could exist. It was a dream come true for this fan. I loved the special, and the job everyone involved did to make it happen. Thank you Catherine, and everyone else for making me feel 8 years old again!
It gave me chills when you yelled out pterodactyl.. it always broke my brain😂😂. I really loved this special. And I teared up during a lot of it. Not just for the sad parts but the morphs and the callbacks. It was so good❤❤

While watching, it occured to me that Tanya was captured alone because her other Zeo teammates were busy doing some other stuff. Was kinda expecting Katherine and Rocky to react seeing Tanya captured though 😂
Yes! I keep thinking the same thing! Jason and Tommy were captured, Adam was in space, and Cat and Rocky were on the main team. Poor Tanya was by herself.

@@adamtucker669 Jason wouldn't have had the Gold Ranger powers anyway. His body couldn't handle them anymore, as they were draining his life force. So he had to return them to Trey. Doesn't change the fact he was busy with his original team though. 😂

Hello Cat and Nakia... just found your channel this evening and subscribed. I also just finished watching Once & Always for the third time since it first aired. Such an amazing reunion special. Cat you and the other MMPR crew did a Morphenominal job with it. I have been a Power Rangers fan since the series first came out back in the 90's. I also noticed Zeo Ranger 2 yellow among the others who were captured. Tanya was also one of my favorite characters from Zeo and Turbo. You ladies are not only lovely but also very talented at what you do. I'm happy to have found your Channel. Also wanted to say that this special was a beautiful dedication to both Thuy and JDF. Miss them both, may they rest in peace, both of them were awesome people. The character of Tommy has also been one of my longtime favorites, the OG Green Ranger will always be GOAT. As you girls said in the video, it would be awesome to have a Zeo special, with both of you as well as Adam and Rocky passing the torch so to speak and being mentors to a younger generation of Zeo Rangers, possibly your characters children? Just an idea. Anyway keep up the awesome work and great videos, and may the power protect you both. IT'S MORPHIN TIME! DRAGONZORD... GREEN RANGER POWER! :)

It was a beautiful tribute to Thuy since it was never done upon news of her passing and nostalgic MMPR era. OG MMPR never had a chance to say goodbye.

I woke up at 5AM this morning to flip on NETFLIX seeing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always. Billy, Zack, Katherine, Rocky, Aisha, and Adam were reunited. The introduction of Trini’s daughter Minh touched me. Watching this for about an hour was intense, nostalgic, emotional and Morphenomenal. At the end; while Kimberly was singing and playing the guitar from season 1, I almost cried as the special was dedicated to Thuy Trang as Trini and Jason David Frank as Tommy. 🟢💛⚡️The quote: “Once a ranger, always a ranger.” Fans loved it and critics loved it. I hope that there be more specials with other veteran rangers in the future because the fanbase is so hardcore. I can imagine seeing JJ, Tommy and Kat’s son becoming a Power Ranger using the master morpher.

In Zeo, it shows Tommy and Kat in their old age, and their son is a ranger, they’re babysitting their grandson while the son goes off to fight.
I enjoy to watching power rangers once & always on Netflix but I really missed Thuy Trang & Jason David Frank they will be missed as always rest in Peace for both of them (12/14/73 - 09/03/01) & (09/04/73 - 11/19/22) 😇🙏

I don't know how I am just now watching this. I actually watched Once and Always twice and it was incredible. I wish they could go back and do more little series like this. It was incredible. Once and Always should be a thing for multiple Power Rangers series.

Hi Cat and Nakia! Loved hearing you discuss Once and Always. Congratulations Cat! I was so happy to see you back in action and was happy to see Zeo Ranger II (even though it was a small action figure)...hope to have a Zeo sequel so we can see you and Nakia back as Cat and Tanya respectively!
Nakia in is in the movie, but for two seconds of it. Her Zeo Yellow Ranger action figure is shown in the case in Rita's palace.
I would love to see the character of JJ come in as Zeo Ranger 5 in a Zeo special! Showing his and Kat's grief at losing Tommy would be deeply impactful if they chose to go that route. Maybe he's at the SPD academy, so his arc could be more of an "I'm not ready to be a ranger" angle contrasted with Minh's revenge-centered arc. I think having a mother and son on a ranger team would be really special and not something we've seen before.
We kinda did in Mystic Force with Nick (or Bowen as she called him later in the season) and Udonna. But not on the core team per say. That would be neat plus Kat could mentor him as well.
@Nobody Special515 Yeah but Kat and Tommy wasn't active rangers per say in the episode in those scenes. Just the flashbacks.
So I believe that they did a second season of Abraranger in Japan. It would be fitting, and bittersweet, if he took over the role of the Black Brachio Ranger of the new Dino Thunder team.
I agree about bringing Zordon back. He was the best mentor to the power rangers by far. He was the most believable and relatable mentor. A true mentor/father figure. Zordon meant a lot to me growing up. It would be cool to see him come back perhaps even in some new and interesting ways and be the top honcho of all the power ranger teams.
Tanya was the Lone Zeo Ranger out there fighting Puddies.
"Crane" and "Crane Zord." Haha. Nakia seemed a little slow on the uptake. However, it never occured to me before that every surviving and un-indicted Zeo Ranger was in this except her. That makes sense, but I can see how it would sting.

Cat, you were amazing on MMPR Once and Always. I’m thankful for the writers as well, they did a very good job. A lot of references from the original MMPR and Sentai. It definitely made me feel like a child again. The tribute in the end for Thuy and JDF made me cry. ❤

You know I grew up on reruns of mighty morphin but time force is my favorite season because Jennifer pink ranger but this 30th Anniversary reunion special was perfect and better then past anniversary specials can’t believe it’s been 30 years the ending of this special made me shed a tear with Kimberly aka Amy JO signing in a particular scene from the show when the original group was younger just seeing how time has changed since then In this special was really but wasn’t until the tributes of truy and Jason popped up where it was waterfall of emotions sadly I haven’t met any actresses or actors yet was planning on meeting Jason actually at galaxy con in Ohio because there’s no other major power ranger events but the unfortunate event happened and I was sad I didn’t meet Jason but sometimes I feel guilty because I somewhat feel like I had purpose to save him but it’s the past now I loved this special so much I’m glad everyone came back thank you for making my childhood great with many memories once a ranger always a ranger ❤⚡️

I loved Once & always so much, watched it like 3 times in a row the day that was out. Absolutely cried on the end clip, RIP for JDF and Thuy Trang (also RIP for Jesús Barrero and Carlos Íñigo, Jason and Billy Latin American voice actors, they died years ago) 🥺
Loved all the Easter eggs and stuff, one of my favorites lines was when the monsters noticed Rocky and Kat and they said "different Red, different Pink, same powers" that was badass 😎
It was a great touch that in the Mexican dub they even bring back most of the original VAs from you guys, hearing "Morfosis amigos" (it's Morphin time) again was so damn good 🙌🏼

Wish Karan's and Johnny's character had more screen time and more involvement in the special besides a few lines.
I don't Blame Kat for not noticing Tanya because she was focusing on Tommy but Rocky had no excuse not to react her being captured. Also just notice she was the only Zeo Ranger maybe that's why she got captured as 3 of her team mates were using Mighty Morpher powers and one of them is at space...
I loved every moment of this new episode!! I never imagined I would be seeing some of my favorite Original Rangers, and 2nd season just as awesome, but what a joy to watch. I wish somehow they could have brought back the woman who played Rita in the second season and all the seasons after because I recently bought and rewatched ALL Mighty Morphin- In Space (because that was my childhood) and she added alot to Rita I think.
Still amazing and loved the tribute to the Yellow Ranger what a way to give her flowers. I don't know if this is true but I heard someone say David Frank's daughter may want to play the Green Ranger, and I thought that would be an Awesome way to pay tribute.
I so wish the original cast could have got together for this because I'm telling you seeing that last clip of all of them together and Amy Jo singing was amazing; made me feel like a kid again for a minute there ha

when I originally heard of robo Rita I thought it'd be the machine empire but it wasn't. I really did like jj mentioned and I was just saying it'd be cool if he followed the dino thunder path. and where his name came from. I would be interested in zordon returning or a mention since Christopher and DJ are doing Bloodline about the morphing grid. and the tribute at the end was beautiful. I do wish there was more about Rocky in it 'cause he was one of my favorites (I still hold a candle for him & Penny lol).
I loved the special i have my gripes with it but glad it was made and hope there are more things down the road

This mmpr special brought the beloved series full circle after its debut 30 years ago.i liked the storyline about the original cast members & closure for the dearly departed characters trini kwan it was a lovely tribute.
First of all I wanted to say how much I Loved the special. I have had to take time off from school to help my ailing Grandfather and this was such a nice thing to look forward to during this hard time. So much love ❤

Been watching the franchise since literally day one. How they connected once and always to the original mighty morphin was done very tasteful. How they rolled Trini's daughter to become the yellow ranger. Also, how they showed Bulk and Skull even though they were not. This was a well-done tribute. Cat, you didn't lose your touch. You stepped back in like it was yesterday.

Considering Nikia is the only cast member that basically looks the same they better put respect in her name and bring her back next time. She and the actor that played justin were the only actors who weren't even asked to come back from the original movies. Loved seeing Cat come back, but you know if AJJ and Austin hadn't said no they wouldn't have asked her end Steve either. I really hope that Netflix hasbro actually respect all the actors that made this show great next time.

episodes on TV series generally are in and around 1 hour..
This is a sequel to the original series.. the 1995 version, I would class as a Movie..
