- Hey guys, another super fun sesh! This time I was on my mates board, it was super fun... Somehow my gopro managed to glitch for the wave of the day, literary such a coincidence but never the less it was still a great surf! Hope you enjoy...

Sick bro looks fun out there!! I’ve been getting coaching from a pro surfer, and you’re doing the same thing I’m doing. You’re looking straight down (right away), instead of looking over your shoulder when you go backside. Helped me out astronomical, hope it helps you!

I found a good exercise to practice this at home. Just lie down on the floor and look left or right and fix your head in that position, now start doing pop ups, you can do this everyday and focus your head before you do your pop up and pretend you are looking down the line. Best way to get your muscle memory going

I lived in Westport (About two houses back from Donaldos) for about a year a while back - didn’t surf then. Never realised there was such good surf. I’ll need to have a go when I get back there

I really like your videos. You are very luckie of surfing in those spots, they look fun, good waves and no crowd. It looks like south island new zealand is it? I lived in Queenstown and traveled trhough the west coast, amazing place. Still i think the west coast suffers from horrible weather in winter.

Hello mate, it looks like you just placed your tail pad slightly forward the center fin, I did it either, but I still hadn't the chance to try it yet. I have the 6'4", do you think I made a mistake and remove the pad or is it good placing it slightly in front the center fin??

@@1olp1 I tried both Setups, felt like it didnt make much of a difference. Maybe I am not experienced enough to tell...

Hard to know after one surf but it also depends on the mood I'm In and how good the waves are lol. Dhd would suit better in good conditions but the hypto was really fun...

Im interested in this board, whats your weight? You seem to be diving 36L easy enough, I think at 145lbs is prob need less volume

Hey man, yeah it was super fun and easy to catch waves! I feel like if I was riding a slightly smaller one it would have been a bit better, but overall it felt great, it carried speed through turns... unlike my DHD.

I felt you on that big set when I was surfing I had like a 8 foot set cam in and got a 3 wave hold down scariest moment of my life I have ptsd now and I won’t go out there any more do you have something to help me get thru it
