An Alliance researcher named Dr. Bryson has been attempting to track down Leviathan, a mysterious being rumored to be powerful enough to kill a Reaper. Admiral Hackett orders Shepard to support his efforts, believing that the Leviathan could potentially turn the tide of the Reaper War.
About my Shepard: Blake's a Renegon (mixed morality, favoring Renegade) with the Earthborn/Sole Survivor background. He's what you might call a jerk with a heart of gold. Although most of his dialogue responses are Renegade, he makes Paragon plot decisions about 50% of the time.

Anyone else noticed that the artifacts are very similar if not the same, as the ones you find around the galaxy in both me1 and me2

How cool is it that mass effect essentially the greatest space opera since star wars also dabbles in Lovecraft, truly the greatest sci-fi franchise

@@gelraldoldo5152 Yeah, I was just thinking that. I've heard plenty of how much inspiration Mass Effect drew from things like Star Trek, especially in the first game. I don't think Halo had any inspiration on Mass Effect. They came out in such a close time frame that the storyline of Mass Effect had likely already been figured out when Halo was in the middle of being a big thing.

@@damitcam That's not how atmospheric diving suits work. Just like submarines, they maintain the same pressure of one atmosphere from the surface all the way down to their maximum depth, whatever that may be.

Anyone else think this DLC would have been a lot more interesting if it actually was a reaper that broke free instead of the leviathans?
I enjoyed the mysterious backstory of the reapers, kind of didn’t want the mystery solved like that

While this DLC helps explain the ending better, it ruins it even more for me. There is no ambiguity now. Destroy is the only real answer. These ancient fish made an AI that went evil and it just decided to follow some sort of abstract law about chaos and order. It pretends theres a cycle of synthetics and organics coming into conflict ad infinitum, but is the only one who is literally making the synthetics fight organics.
