Kakarot’s update log:
- New intro featuring my 3 channel mascots
- Upgraded, more professional lighting. It turned out great with the pictures, but for the camera I was trying out different settings. Expect all future videos to be as bright and well-lit as 11:20
I think I’m almost done with implementing improvements now.
Also, 2 MG reviews in a row?! I think I already filled my MG Review quota for next year too.
While there is nothing wrong with changes old style reviews felt more personal and didn't push one of worst Gundam series ever that's GSD as much.
While I love the more well-lit setup, I do miss all the expressive hand gesture and the misshaps while you fiddle around with the gunpla. There's a certain charm in there

I'm really hoping we get an MSV HGUC line soon. We're getting a few MSV-ish suits with the MSD Origin line, but MSVs have some of THE coolest One Year War-era mobile suit designs. I'd kill for a new Zaku Recon.

The msv line is going down the drain as a msd line now since ALL OF EM ARE P-FKING-BANDAI. The waterproof gundam, the zaku cannon the gyan kreigar like wth bandai. Even 00's gn x iv is not forgiven...

This coming from a super G Gundam fan who has watched both sub and dubbed versions enjoys every time you reference the series in your videos even when it has nothing to do with it like right here.
Imagine if a Gm Sniper Custom was launched with two double beam spray guns and goes all wu on all of zeon.
Regarding the leftover parts, you can assemble a whole GM torso with cockpit block. It would be perfect to customize into a battle damaged GM as a diorama background.

Damn you and your glowing review of GM kits! I "accidentaly" ordered the MG GM sniper white dingo. And unfortunately for me it matches up nicely if I get an MG GM command. Dang it!
Love the new intro with your three mascots! Let’s hope a MG or a RE/100 Zaku III comes out so the size comparison for MGs will completely work out!
By the way, are you going to review the HGUC Tristan anytime soon? I’d like to hear your opinion on that kit.

I could imagine having several of these nesting on the ship exterior behind a raised armor plating. I mean one of these could damage an apsalus quite heavily, having several accurate high powered rifles like these could've made all the difference.

Even with the MG ZZ Ver. Ka, this has won MG of the year for me from pure bias. I love everything about this kit and I'm so happy we got a retail MG GM Sniper Custom that is just such a great kit. Can't wait to buy it for myself.
Will be rereleased as a P-Bandai Zeta colour variation with the new sniper rifle made from the GM II/Nemo beam rifle.

some of those extra parts are really useful. you get an entire core block from the original GM 2.0 which you can use if you have an RX-78 2.0 instead of the core fighter.
Wow, thats a real bummer to only include one mounting piece! I'll still be picking up one of these kits though- I'm a huge fan of the MS and want to show my support!

Would still want a MG blue destiny, the gm command ground type just doesn't cut it, but alas that would end up being a remold of the gm ground type I bet although if they do mod it like what they did with the gm 2.0 frame here I would welcome it!

And looking at what they did with the Powered GM, an MG Blue Destiny would indeed probably be a P-Bandai remold of the Ground GM :/

Did you have trouble with the hips falling out? My legs wouldn't stay put, and I almost dropped a leg on the floor when I picked the Custom up.
Another thing, you can make an almost complete GM 2.0 chest out of those extra parts. it's pretty neat, and you may be able to do a diorama for battle damage ideas.

As I'm I building it I really noticed the nubs are really poorly placed, with such a color the nubs just stick out like an eyesore, that said I really liked the looks and the articulations are really good, minor gripe is the lack of stickers for the optics on the guns. Also how did you get that rear waist piece of hold? Mine doesn't want to stay in and is really lose
gm sniper's frame was an improvement over the gm sniper 2 frame which was also an improved rx-78 2.0 frame

The legs of my GM 2.0 are so loose that they come off easily in the hip area. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
I know it isn't really your thing, but would you ever consider resin recasting some of the rarer kits you own? Like the 1/144 gm sniper ver. Ka. If not i understand, this request was pretty out there.

Hey Kakarot great video but, may I suggest getting a dedicated mic for when you speak? Your voice is muffled in the introduction part of the kit and even after you got closer, your voice was still not clear enough.

How sturdy is the backskirt? My gm 2.0's flies off if it moves past it's micro articulation.

The Command Space Type? It was a P-Bandai release. We're getting a normal GM Command as a normal release, however.

hey kakarot, do the spare pieces provide a full extra core block and does that one fit in the gundam 2.0? Ill definitly get this one and Im thinking of getting the gundam 2.0 but the one core fighter is a major dissapointment as I would love to display that lil and cute plane by itself

All C-parts are included, but the 2 I-parts are not(however, these aren't necessary for your plans.
I don't have the 2.0, so I can't confirm if it'll be a 100% fit.

I wish I could get this kit so bad but they're all so damn expensive now.
The next MG (#200) is apparently the GM Command (WITP) according to the wiki.
Those weapons can be used for 4-5 gundams, OH, MY, GOD.
Question: would you recommend the MG GM Sniper II or the MG GM Sniper Custom? The custom seems to have more accessories but the Sniper II has a nice blue color. I'm undecided (I'm not getting both).
I just started building mine and I got the waist done. However, the back middle piece (between the skirts) was super loose, no friction. I kept rereading the instructions I did nothing wrong. So I had to glue it. Is this a bad mold? i.imgur.com/cr0eeCU.jpg
I checked out my piece and while it is easy to pull out, it never fell out. There shouldn't be any click either, it really should just slide on there and stay.
I don't see anything wrong with your pieces either, so I think you got unlucky : / (I know that the Hazel hands can range from "they fall apart when you look at them" to "if you're careful, they'll be fine)

Pretty sure it's 200 since the Sniper Custom is 199 and the next normal MG release is the Command.
GM Command is geting a release. Awkwardly, the space type was a P-Bandai, while the normal one is not.
zannus supposedly mg 200 is not the gm command which is known by the fact a person who works with bluefin confirmed this
hold on, the inner fame looks oddly familiar. Is that the inner frame of the Gundam Origins version?!
All I can say is that it's a modified GM 2.0 frame and the GM 2.0 frame is based on the RX-78-2 2.0 frame. I haven't built the Origin version of the RX-78-2, so I don't know if it uses an original or a modified rx-78-2 2.0 frame
Kakarot197 I think this is the origin since the origin is basically a modified 2.0 without the core block (thank god). In fact, the arms of the origin frame is the 2.0 hmm

objectively, the GM Sniper Custom is a better value, but go for the one you think looks best because both are pretty much equal in term of articulation and quality. If you like both equally in the looks department, then to for the GM Sniper custom because it has more stuff.
Honestly, GM Sniper II looks cooler.
I don't think the question is "Do you want to buy this?" but rather "Should you buy this?" or "Is it worth buying?"
"Do you want to buy this?" sounds like it doesn't leave a lot of room for consideration or debate, it also sounds like you're asking the viewers to tell you "yes or no".
"The inevitable question is: Is it worth buying?" or "The inevitable question is: Should you buy this?" and then follow up with pros and cons. Of course the answer in this case would be "Yes."
It's a good kit. I just finished painting and assembling the original GM2.0 and when I learned that they were going to release the GM Sniper Custom it was an automatic buy for me. :)
Your lighting is getting better and better, but TBH I don't like the new review style you're doing lately. Sometimes I thought my screen was freezing.....
Is it just because of the static images? I dug around my editing software and found the option to do a panning zoom, which I will be implementing going forward.
