I'm really new to cod, only got into it at the very end of the last game, and got into the beta for cold war, and liked it better, movement felt smoother and I didn't have the huge disadvantage of being the only noob in every match as far as map knowledge and weapon unlocks.
Doing much better in this then MW where I think my kdr was .63 or some terrible, so far I'm at 1.6 or something. Not a tryhard but my goal is to be good enough to just use any gun successfully and not just play whats meta

My favorite is the M16 but the way you aim so fast with both guns in quite impressive.

My favorite gun rn is the bullfrog. The ak47 is a close second
He went 120 kills with like 7 or 6 deaths and they still lost. Oh mah gahhd
From what I notices, The AUG does more damage but is less accurate. At closer ranges the AUG will get more 1 bursts (about 30m and under) At longer ranges the shot grouping of the M16 is closer so you have more consistent 1 bursts at ranged. With the M16 it does less damage per bullet so it requires all 3 shots to be center chest or one of the shots to head hit in the burst. You can test this in game by shooting at a wall, AUG shot group is the size of a paper plate and M16 shot group is the size of a baseball. So to sum it up, M16 for longer range conflicts, AUG for everything else.
