If Ashley had some friends, a mother who actually cared about her, she wouldn't had that toxic bonding to his Brother (her brother replaced everyone :/)
Since he was a child, Andrew showed a tendency to be obsessive about Ashley. So if she had the ability to deceive other people like Andrew does throughout the game, and also managed to make male friends, especially, perhaps we would more easily see Andrew without his false persona (mask of sanity), rather than a friendly, charismatic persona. and normal as he has never been since he was a child.
