The finals best heavy build loadout for season 1 includes a number of different suggestions. The best Finals Heavy weapon is the Lewis Gun but the SA1216 is a good alternative. The bestr heavy specialization is easily the mesh shield and the best gadgets for the heavy class in The finals includes the dome shield, RPG and C4.
Sometimes other options are good for the best heavy build loadout, but these options are definitely the most versatile for THE FINALS season 1.

As the pin from the medium video this is basically perfect. Best class loadout guide so far. Shotgun is the gun with the fastest ttk in the game and as he said excels with premade and you need to lure people in with your shields and dome. M60 is still viable but Lewis gun is just better and the little bit of ammo in the m60 is not really worth the longer ttk.
I saw someone say in the finals discord that the heavy shotgun was bad. I only thought “what is this guy smoking?” That shotgun is INSANE. Played OB and that thing was the KING of close combat 1v1. If you and ur opponent are both glitched, then that shotgun will win 90% of the time if the enemy doesn’t have that shotgun too.
I’m curious about what you think about the current class dynamics and meta combos. I feel like the best kind of combo is two mediums one large, with a heal beam, a defense turret, and the shield from the heavy. It feels like the best defense for cashout. Light as a whole would be relevant if quick cash was in the tournament mode, but since it isn’t it doesn’t feel like it has a spot in any meta team comps. What do you think? Class & specializations?
@@lesvegetables5014He's probably just trash. It's a well designed gun, it's strong and easy to use, but also easy to mess up. Basically if you don't pay attention to your bursts you can end up shooting one bullet at someone then stopping and dying because you weren't keeping track.

Does the M60 not do a bit more damage than the Lewis, making it the better CQC option?
you can shoot through the dome shield if its your teams, both from the inside and the outside and through both layers

If you are in a three stack only take the shotgun. Your goal is literally to get on a cash out and hold it the shotgun demolishes lights which are always gonna be the first thing in the room
This, if in a squad you should shield outside for your teammates to shoot though then being the shotgun out when pushed
I use sledgehammer and pyro grenade. Have lewis gun and shotgun as reserve. 4/5 times I'm in a building or have a lot of cover, so the sledgehammer works as a charm. The pyro is to destroy all the gas that is on the point. The c4 Is good but in only one hit lights, with pyro it will constant burn and create a longer disruption than c4.
I would say the c4 is a must in the current stage of the game. Throw one or two c4's on a barrel and throw the barrel towards your enemies then detonate when the barrel is as close to the enemy as possible. I can't tell you how many times i have squad wiped a team with this. Even one-hits heavys. As for lewis-gun i think it's a nice gun to swap to if enemies are playing like bitches and doesnt push you as hard. However the shotgun is superior if you just play around your mesh-shield.
The amount of times I've taken out a sledgehammer user with the heavy shotgun just makes me think the two need serious tuning. The sledge is okay against medium and lights, but usually people start realising they can just walk away from you and you can't do much. Sledgehammer users are the easiest to kill with the shotgun since they're walking directly into you giving you the easiest shots possible. The TTK difference is just so huge, it's not like the heavy is lacking in tools of destruction, though I will admit just being able destroy literally any wall or floor at any time is valuable and very fun at times.
I play this but switch rpg for explosive mine, and sometimes shotgun on those maps with alot of small spaces
I’ve been using the shotgun with charge slam to be able to close distance or escape. I use to rpg for some range, c4 to put on cash out or make new entry points, and some shield to steal the cash out. Already have a handful of games I’ve gotten 20+ kills with 5 or less deaths.
my favorite loadout. been using it since beta 1 and good lord can it kill
I go all explosives. Grenade launcher, RPG, C4, deployable cover, and the charge slam

I’m in the same boat as the merchant, I haven’t played Apex since I’ve even set eyes on the finals. Way too fun.
I surprisingly love playing heavy, it’s suuuuper fun especially with the dash or the goo gun. They might not be optimal picks but they’re fun.

I mean, yeah. At least he wants to mix it up. I can't imagine only making content for one game after years would drive me nuts. Especially with the amount of content apex doesn't push out anymore.

Glitch granade is a must becuase of the heavy shields
It's not meta but if you want to have more fun I highly recommend swapping that shield for the Goo Gun.

This is a meta ranked heavy build. I personally dont play any of my meta classes unless im playing ranked. Its way more fun to completely avoid the meta whenever you play in casuals

So Mesh Shield is better than Charge? I found Charge SOMETIMES allow me to run away...
Personally, I feel the pyro grenade is more useful with the current meta of players using gas grenades so heavily. Its useful for area denial as well. You made a good point about the shield use forcing the reload. Its a very simple trick to outplay your 1v1s

Lewis gun kinda op imo it feels like I get deleted and I always leave them with low hp especially as a light class

The lewis gun is fantastic for me - I've found my groove with it and can literally wipe out suckers with ease. The SA126 shotgun - damn, I hate that thing. It's powerful but locks up if you're in aim mode and go over 4 shots in one go. Instead of just triggering the automatic reload animation it jams up, unless you stop aiming, to which it will allow a few more. This has got me smoked so many times. A tricky piece of metal to master and not for me.

As someone who's played heavy since official launch with 50+ hours on heavy. The lewis gun is the best ranged weapon yes, but it's not the best weapon for heavy. The shotgun is undoubtedly the best weapon to run with shields as when someone pushes your shield you get a free kill every time. Kills are far more consistent than at range, and you win the 1v1's more often. If you're caught in a ranged fight you just shield to lure them in, or shield to run to cover - lure them in/run away to next objective - where they'll need to contest you either way. I will admit that the lewis gun can be useful in quick cash where people are running around for no reason, so the distance of engagements isn't consistent regardless of if you have a shield or not, either gun works. Though for tournaments/ranked the shotgun is just better.
So the only way to get money is to finish capturing these points? What's the point of the large numbers then? Feels like there should be other ways to barely edge your way past other teams.

I completely stopped playing apex and starting playing the finals. It’s honestly refreshing to have something come out so new and be this good. It’s definitely a game that will stick and I’m happy to be in “early”

I loved the flamethrower in the beta. I’m not sure what they did to it but it just feels terrible now
Nerfed range, damage, firerate and made it easier to see the flames so people can't be blinded
@@bacondise that makes sense why it feels bad now but I think they went a little too far. Improving visibility was smart but they should either nerf damage OR the range imo, not both

Ngl ive been doing much better with the m60/ shotty reserve combo. Idk i feel like the lewis and m60 shoot extremely similiar. I like the sight better on the m60 and with almost 30 more rounds in the mag its a no brainer. I run the gibby shield, rpg and pyro…depending on what my team runs ill switch out the pyro for the goo nades.
the lewis gun is better and there is no need for 30 extra bullets u already have enough on the lewis. If u cant aim then sure get the extra 30 bullets

The Finals IS NOT an Apex killer please stop saying that. The apex player base hasnt been affected in the slightest since the release of this game. Apex is going nowhere, both of these games will exists simultaneously.
Finals is a pretty cool _game,_ but I wouldn't change this is a positive _industry_ change, or change at all. This is still your typical F2P with heavyhanded monetization and FOMO BS..

i figured this exact build by trial and error. heavy has the most unbalanced kit in my opinion, i hope they buff the other items for more build diversity on the heavy
The heavy shotgun is the most oppressive gun in the game, lewis gun is 2nd to that.

A 3 second win screen means 0 to me if I don't feel like I had fun or earned it thru my own merit.
