Born and raised here! My family and I moved away from here unfortunately when My brother and I were 11 and then we moved back closer to it and now were thinking of moving back there permanently. Our Dad was the General Manager of LOP (Lake Of The Pines) for 13 years!!

From central/downtown auburn. But yes you're right those parts are further out.
