you have a heart weekend too!
Hey doc I wouldn't ask If i hadn't hit a dead end, but can you point me to any resources you used to force generate spawners, I understand you proberbally wont see this, and you are incredibly busy but any help will be greatly apriciated
@@quakerninja Yoo, is that a channel membership emoji?
@@hudsoncharles9916 I assume you mean vanilla without cheats, right? "/place structure" is the obvious, highly boring solution, but I didn't know there were other options after 1.12.
To be fair, Ren's not wrong. The irony is pretty funny going from flying past the Hall of Goat overlooking machines of madness just to find Doc grinding concrete manually in a swamp.
With the power of the hive mind the concrete-making process has been optimized to its highest potential: Using Off-Hand technology, and holding down both mouse buttons to place and break the concrete as quickly as possible!
The only farm that shouldn't be automated is tomato
@@tetsujin_144 This does technically take advantage of game mechanics to make something more efficient, just like the more complex redstone builds.
He obviously chose his base location strategically for swamp access
@@Osmotic I've got some bad news for you about modern agriculture.
There's no such thing as an over reaction, building a wither reactor is an appropriate response to getting made fun of about concrete
It’s just withers no big deal. After all it isn’t command blocks
@@patfre not yet
I mean, this is *exactly* what Ren wanted to see, right?
homie put mine to shame with 2 words. wither reactor
It's an appropriate reaction to most things. I'd say ask technoblade, but he died.... Point is he gangstered all of the city in extremity and it was magnificent
Doc: "I will get that pesky Scar"
Also Doc: "Got these calendars for a stack of diamonds each, look how beautiful Scar is, Ill see him every day when I come to my base"
ahh but you see that is hotguy, not pesky scar
That's what I love about Hermitcraft! 🙂
Makes you wonder if Elmer Fudd has Bugs Bunny pinups in his place.
He’s vengeful but he’s not blind xD
They are such good friends
Mumbo spoke about giving out coloured crowns depending on which colour you press the button at
Oh god
Let the bragging begin! 😂
@@monatae9725 YEAAA
You really want to see the world burn don't you?! xD
@@docm77 I’m now convinced he Is doing it for you or hermits like you specifically lmao
Docc talks about concrete powder like a drug addict: “Now, we’re doing two lines.”
LOL
This is going into the "Out of context " videos!
Doing lines of concrete powder. Things are wild at the perimeter.
Now we need a big mound of white concrete powder next to the machine.
I know Tango hates TNT dupers, I cannot wait to see his reaction to this monstrosity.
He just doesn’t like using them himself. He doesn’t really care if others do.
This monstrosity, seems right up Tango's alley. He loves odd, alternative uses for things.
@Nonr He does, he just doesn't care enough to start an argument. He and Impulse have both said they'd like it removed from the game completely. I mean I play bedrock and we just...use dispensers in flying machines, could easily add that to java. And then add a demolitions villager who sells sand/tnt. Problem solved!
@@andrewbloom7694 I think villager grinding is a problem on itself, I find really cool to watch people who don't use dupers but I hope they don't take them out of the game, I think we have more than enough reasons to spend 5 hours farming villagers, I actually wish we had less
@@andrewbloom7694 I mean...wandering traders sell sand...
Doc makes the the most complex blast chamber imaginable.
Also Doc, "Adding a Shulker loader would make things unnecessarily complicated."
The farm is very open due to doc using glass. Because of that the Shulker loader could make things more complicated from an aesthetic reason too.
Double irony
It’s the problem for the future Doc. Perhaps Docky.
read this comment exactly at the point of the video when he said this
Honestly, I'm so happy that Doc and the other hermits are willing to have open conversations about disability! I feel like within the gaming community I don't hear a lot of conversations about it and it is such an important conversation to have. Love how you went about it Doc, as someone who is chronically ill thank you :)
"Oh I'm just gonna spawn a wither and keep that as a pet in the Perimeter. Why not? WHY NOT?"
"A couple of wardens? WHO CARES?! Let's just destroy everything."
The words of Grian echos though your mind as you gaze upon your wither reactor.
and a dragon too
"I always say a pet reflects its owner, like Scar's got Jellie and Doc has.. a dragon"
also consider, warden train
@@ahmed4363 Dragon, wardens, withers. Yup, all pets of the goat
Ren catching Doc knee deep in dirty swamp water with his soggy boots making concrete was priceless. But, you redeemed yourself Doc. And then some.
Doc: *swears revenge on scar for destroying his tunnel borer
Also Doc: *buys several overpriced signed shirtless HotGuy calendars and posters and puts them up for display
You guys are hilarious 😂
(Also, regarding that comment in the beginning... the idea of a NHO reunion makes me SO HYPED!)
When is Grian's turn? He also touched Doc's redstone. He's half the reason the tunnel bore exploded.
@@voidphilosopher42 Grian, in an odd turn of events, is actually innocent, because he operated the Tunnel Bore correctly, instead of spamming it in hopes of making quick and easy damage and quick diamonds. It was Scar who heard the sound of pistons pushing, saw the machine priming, and yet pressed it a second time.
So I guess Maybe Doc goes a little easy on Grian, but doesn't leave him. Even Doc acknowledged that they were operating it correctly until the last Scar to the machine.
@Rudrodeep Chatterjee It still doesn't seem possible that grian can be innocent even though I've watched it a bunch of times lol
Somebody more talented than me needs to draw Doc being a swamp monster making concrete with his advanced civilization in the background 😂
YES!
You can be talented enough to do that if you tried. I mean if you don't want to I get that it's fine but no need to say you're less talented
@@cookietastik603 nigga some people suck at shit
@@cookietastik603 there’s a huge difference between paper drawing and digital drawing. No offense to them because I don’t know them but saying you’re less talented at ANYTHING is ok. It just means you can improve on that talent and might try.
We are out own worst enemies you can become the most talented person you knoweth practice and a can do attitude or heck even just a little bit of gumption a knack for editing and an AIs help
I just gained so much respect to Doc for listening to the criticism about the language he used, and correcting himself. And that’s saying something, because I already thought very highly of him! That shows that he’s a decent, humble person always willing to learn.
As someone who speaks only one language, it can be challenging to stay updated with the correct terms for individuals with disabilities.
Maybe it's just me but I already thought Doc was and is a good person and meant no ill will by the comment "confined to a wheelchair". It simply and accurately described the scenario that he was discussing. Making someone feel guilty for not capitulating to your preferred terms is a you problem. Not a Doc problem but he's a nice guy with a wholesome community so I'll say the tough parts.
@@joeyreynolds2975 He meant no ill will, and that person that ‘corrected’ him didn’t do so in bad faith. Clearly Doc appreciated the viewpoint.
He also told a story about how his grandmother literally lamented one of her sons being ‘confined to a wheelchair’ and never saw anything but negativity, even though his uncle went on to do amazing things. It perfectly illustrates the negativity inherent in the phrase.
I don’t think the hermits need anyone to ‘say the tough parts’ for them. I think they are adults who can speak for themselves and nurture the kind of vibes they want to see in their communities.
@truckerdave8465 It seemed more of a hostage situation to me than you'd let on. He was making a plea that said, "Don't be mad.I'm just like you (sympathetic/empathetic) to your cry bullying." Perhaps you're correct. Perhaps not. If you're reading this, though, don't allow yourself to be bullied into submission by people so delicate that average phrases upset them to the point of shaming decent creators into pleas for absolution.
@@joeyreynolds2975 The other person is correct. Someone telling you "hey, just so you know, the language you used can be stigmatizing to people like me and the tools we use to navigate the world" is neither a "hostage situation" nor "shaming decent creators into pleas for absolution" nor "cry bullying". It's literally just someone letting you know that you accidentally hurt their feelings with how you phrased something. As human beings, we are bound to accidentally hurt each other like that every once in a while; that's just part of life. What matters is how you react to it when you do. Doubling down and insulting the people (like you did here) is not the right way to go. Take a leaf out of Doc's book.
Petition to name the wither reactor "the over-reactor"
Lol yes
Honestly, "The Wither Reactor" sounds intimidating enough as is. I'd personally prefer that name to stay.
That is a great name 😁
as someone on the road towards needing a wheelchair, absolutely loved your ending discussion about the term "confined" and your own stories!
I loved the disability talk at the end and the comment highlight, great conversation with the comments. not a wheelchair user myself but I do sometimes use mobility aids due to my diseases, having trouble with weakness and joint paint. I was drawn into Hermitcraft from Scar because I love to see fellow disabled folks succeed
It's good when people call us out for careless phrasings that many of us don't even realize are bad, ableist habits of thought. I appreciate the lesson!
Definitely appreciate the awareness, mindfulness, and communication
It's all a progression, and we're all coming from somewhere, found as we are, on our way forward
Honestly, what was that all about? Of course being in a wheelchair is being confined and objectively worse than having fully functional legs.
@@alysoffoxdale No, it's not good having to restrict your speech to such a degree because someone might not like a word you used.
@@k.g.b.1150 It's about a wheelchair being tremendously *_freeing,_* not confining, when you don't have full mobility. It's the lack of mobility, not the wheelchair, that confines people. Having a closed mind and refusing to listen to what people with different knowledge and greater experience tell you is even more confining.
Also, do you _enjoy_ hurting people? Most of us were taught as toddlers not to be hurtful and rude to others.
Doc, just wanted to say that last section of your video is the perfect way to handle communication and discussion. Thank for putting a good demonstration on how to respond like a mature adult on an internet that is sorely lacking in good examples.
Scar's gonna be very confused once he get's back to Scarland with both Doc's and Bdubs' presents XD
There are few things in this world quite as dangerous as bruising Doc’s ego
I like that Doc draws the line at installing a shulker box loader for the concrete machine because it would make it needlessly complicated XD
The world download is going to be amazing, all hell breaking loose with the chunk updates releasing an army of withers, wardens, and a couple of dragons
Don’t forget the ghasts
Especially for Bedrock!
It's going to be a serious mess!
Well since after the download I tnt everything, I'll have less work with them destroying everything.
My PC’s gonna crash trying to open that world
i can't wait :D
You know, honestly, making the Skull Farm for a blast chamber makes *a lot* more sense than just using it for a prank. The prank was just an early bonus lol
It was worth it just for the prank😂
Respect for giving attention to this user’s comment and communicating about it. Many CZcamsrs would pretend that exchange never happened. I love how you talk to your community!
Seriously though! Never a drop of toxicity from even the biggest villain on HC.
I’m glad you shared your personal stories related to disability inclusion, it was very nice to hear.
You gotta admit, Ren's clip of flying over the Hall of GOAT to find Doc standing in the swamp making concrete is pretty funny :)
But now, the mega machine is in place!!
Just waiting for the Goat to blow into the viking horn to summon Bdubs, Etho and Beef for one... last... job. NHO 4 life.
I started watching the recap as far back as season 5 to catch up on history and it's starting to pay off
@@AndrewBrownK oh wow, HC Recap goes that far back?! Dang, 8 knew they were doing their thing for a while but I didn't realize it's been that long... I should totally go back watch all the old stuff again just for the luls...
Alternatively scar ticks off the rest of the NHO somehow, for example blowing up the TCG shop and beats etho in PvP...
I honestly think this video format is the best in Hermitcraft. The comment of the week discussions, the inclusion of other Hermits' streams, and just the overall chill vibe. May long format videos never die!
Amen!! 🎉
It's extremely refreshing to know how you (and I would assume all the Hermits, based on what I've seen from the others) respond to constructive criticism like the "confined" comment. There are definitely creators whose first reaction would be to get defensive and stubborn about it, so it's nice indeed to see Hermits keeping it real.
I love how scar COMPLETELY forgot about the anvil launcher 😂
I am blind and watch every hermit I can possible and just recently launched a clothing brand based around disabilities and I’ve been trying to get in contact with every hermit to possibly give them a free shirt because you guys have mad my life easier to not think about my struggles of being blind and be great full for everyday
May I politely ask how you watch their videos without actually seeing? Is only hearing enaugh to be entertained and also to understand what happens?
I have a eye condition called retinitis pigmentosa so I can see partially imagine looking through a cone and only being to see what’s in front of you
Thank you, Doc, for always striving to be as welcoming and inclusive as you can be. It means a lot to me, at least. I have been mentally disabled for years, and I have been scared about what other people would think of me. The fact that you have been so welcoming and friendly to those who have struggled and are struggling brings me peace of mind. It shows me that people are not only aware of our struggles, but that they also care and want us around.
Thank you so much, Doc.
Building a Wither Reactor to harvest exploding skulls just to prove to Ren that the hivemind can farm concrete better than a guy in a swamp seems about the appropriate reaction honestly. If he talks smack on the hivemind he talks smack on all of us!
Only doc can build a whole machine to launch wither skulls but cannot make a platform between two of his control stations🤣🤣
Ren made a valid point though which is why it’s so funny 😂
Doc one of the biggest MC brains ever and he just be vibing in the swamp
sometimes simple is relaxing
This week's episode is so peaceful without the " Trouble Maker " and the "Pesky Bird" or they are probably afraid to log in to the server and face the wrath of the Goat 😂😂😂😂😂
I love how you brought this episode full circle with "Hermitcraft keeps it real" in the beginning and end conversations :)
When the sweet sweet first notes of the theme pop in, you know you're about to watch yet another legendary video.
*Trruuuuee!*
Ya the intro hits so hard I love it!!!
HOH. HOH. HOH.
and you also know in this moment, doc is singing along to the intro
Needs to be my ring tone.
Docm you share the most important things in your video! Family, friendship, acceptance, healthy thinking about community, the positive value of sharing by keeping it real, and then you bring the fun to with your awesome Minecraft videos full of your inspiring work. It's an honor to hear about your Mom, and all the things you share from learning in life with her. I don't think I could ever complain about you needing time away from Minecraft video making to be the family orientated good man you are. Lot's of love to your family and you!
I’m so glad you talked about the comment at the end and are happy to learn more and hear others perspectives. I’m a wheelchair user myself, and these small adjustments to the language we use can make all the difference! Brilliant episode as usual though, I always save these for the evening when I just relax and have a cuppa tea
I am an ambulatory wheelchair user, which means I can walk but use a wheelchair since it can be too painful or unsafe to do so. Seeing the Goat take the criticism about being "confined to a wheelchair" was so heartwarming. Thank you, Doc, for doing so, and thank you for sharing your family's story. It was a privilege to hear
Really love the conversations about inclusion and how we can take feedback from each other to be better and make sure we're not doing harm with our words.
I think if you decide to decorate your machines at all, a swamp theme for the concrete blast chamber would be a good subtle jab back at Ren for calling you out for your low tech swamp concrete process
Ah yes the good old stationary wither skull based concrete machine, I love the fact that this is not the weirdest thing in the perimeter.
As a physical therapy student the thought of tying someone’s able limb and throwing them into water is mind blowing to me. Goes against the #1 principle were taught which is do no harm haha. Glad you shared these stories!
I know the feeling of limited movement Doc. I'm nearly fully blind and have low bone density and muscle wastage so my movements is very limited and I often have to get pushed in a wheelchair when I'm going places. I also suffer from chronic fatigue because of medical complications. I hate when people treat me different, I want to be treated the same as I was before I lost my sight, not have everyone tiptoe around me
Yessssssss as someone with SMA, I 100% agree. Do not let that one person bully you into feeling guilty. He should have said he feels uncomfortable and not the community does.
Doc, the polio story hits close to home. My grandfather was a polio survivor and as a result, one leg was shorter than the other and walked with a limp his entire life. Thank you for sharing!
Same here. My great-grandmother had polio when she was young and her right eye was paralyzed (that’s the word that was always used. I don’t know if there’s another word for it) for the rest of her life. I feel kind of bad, now, because it used to creep me out when I was a kid.
That was so special to hear about your family and their history with mobility and the hurdles they mounted to face life head-on. Thank you for sharing such a personal bit of info about yourself. You've got such a great head on your shoulders and your heart for caring about others really shines through, no matter your language barrier at times. You have such a humble willingness to learn and adapt to correction and are always seeking to improve yourself through learning and accommodating everyone's comfort levels. This is one of the reasons among many on why you're one of my favorite Hermits. So glad to be a fan and can't wait for the next episode!
Last episode: Cover Scars build in Wither Skulls
This episode: Buy Scar's merch
This is why I love the Hermitcraft; even when wars and pranks are about, it doesn't stop the hermits from just loving each other.
There are no belts for this button. According to Mumbo he was considering using crowns instead.
I feel like Scar is going to take both Doc and Bdubs pranks in stride and make them into an attraction at his park. Like have a kind of haunted area that starts with the skulls and maybe a petting zoo with the horses
you should add a mode so that anvils are only targeting one specific half of the playing area as part of the King of the Hill challenges in your arena
Rendog - Where are you located, Doc!
Docm77 - Behind the Hall of GOAT!
Rendog - 👀, There he is, look at this, the best concrete maker, I ever seem!
Also, Rendog - We got Doc, breaking the Redstone, breaking Minecraft and coming up with new things, but there he is, in a swamp, Making Concrete!
This has the same energy as "I found a spider in the house so I burnt the whole house down"! 😀
Ren called out his concrete making and so Doc creates an incredibly intricate and complicated concrete machine involving controlled wither skulls.. 😀Love it!
I found a spider in my house so I invented nuclear weapons and figured out how to use quantum tunnelling to localise the entire explosion within the spider's head, vaporising it without even leaving a mark on the wall.
@@headlessnotahorseman Accurate!! :-D
I think putting large wither rose vines around the reactor would be super cool! Like the dark vines are wrapping around it or spreading from it. But it would be hard to make them super detailed haha
I hope this season still going for another 2 years at least. I love everything happening this season.
I remember xisuma talking about his support for the idea of seasons being longer after season 7 and especially season 8 ending when they did
The hermits might be able to play Decked out 2!
I am neutral about having another 2 or more years of this season, I want to see projects see their full potential. I also don't want the season to outstay it's welcome, a fresh start can be good from time to time. I do see this season being a good long one.
I foresee the ending of the season coinciding with the ending of Decked Out.
The hermits still have quite a bit of work they can do on their bases, but they do seem to be plateauing in terms of big projects. The only exception right now is Decked Out, which still has a month or 2 to completion, then another 2ish months of play time.
We can reasonably be sure then that the season will end probably around September or October.
Me too
Doc seems to love and hate Scarland at the same time 😂
Every time I watch your videos I feel so included. It's not easy to make a random stranger on the internet feel like a friend but thats what you do. Thanks for the friendship you show us.
I don't know if anyone has ever suggested this, but every time I see Doc's tomato slimes it makes me hope that Mojang eventually allows us to farm slimes and feed them different colored items to color them, then kill them to have different colored slime and slime patterns as a block.
Sometimes Doc just needs the Funkstille of concrete making to stay sane around that Troublemaker and Grian 😂
I laugh during every time lapse when there are 1000 tomatoes jumping around 😂 underrated Perimeter feature, tbh
Guys, time to sit around the goatfather.
He will tell us how he broke minecraft this week!
Never apologize about the length of your videos, Doc. You have such a great mix of planned and freeform content that it's worth the 45-90 minutes. 😎
If you fly into the skulls, will you blow up then? I mean, an elytra course with skulls could be fun.
It doesn't appear to be the case, I think they need momentum in order to blow up.
No you would have to push the skulls and give them some momentum to fly themselves into blocks
maybe it would work if you had slime block launchers bouncing them back and forth, but idk
Hey Doc, you might want to consider adding vertical end rods as part of the smoke effects so at night it looks intimidating as well. If you put the end rods in the right places, the lighting can make the shading on the wither look amazing.
Thank you for always being a positive moment in our lives. We really appreciate you Doc.
Maybe put some Shriekers or Screaming Goats inside the Wither Statue's heads so you'd have a Screaming Wither? If anyone gets too close, they get a jumpscare.
I am excited for the time Doc will put up the walls of the perimeter: the sandstone and copper will contrast so nicely with the farms. They will stand out even more and could look even more majestic. Especially the wither with its dark colours!
The wither sculpture looks great, but it does feel like a lot of pranksters on the server will love to mess around with it
I love that your version of villainy is a mixture of terrifying and wholesome!!
The best thing about the anvil thing against scar is that chat was yelling at him that it was doc but he would only look over if something else happened 😂😂
I just went back and watched season 6 for the first time. Given how things went there, Grian and Scar should feel lucky this is all that it's escalated.
Just wanted to say that your consistency and dedication has been fantastic this season, as well as the quality of your episodes. You seem to have found a great balance and you should be proud.
I absolutely love how willing you are to learn the nuances of the english language and the meaning that people attach to certain words and how sometimes things can be harmful. We are all always learning and it’s important to understand that we are all human. Thank you for sharing your personal experiences, I think it’s important context to why you said that phrase. You truly are the goat 💜
my favorite thing about Doc's reaction to the comment of the week is that he didn't have to lol. I can think of so many creators that would have chosen a different comment to showcase, but Doc showed his willingness to learn about the disabled community and that is so important!! appreciate you man:)
I honestly don't know how I stumbled upon Hermitcraft, but it has been such a wonderful light in my life. I love sitting and listening to all of you having fun! It's become a habit to check and see if there is a new video to listen to as I crochet! Anyway, thank you for doing what you do!
Last year my brother fell 4m (12ft) into a cornbunker. The fire department worked 1,5 hours to get him out of there (thankfully it was empty and without gases).
He shattered his 2nd lumbar vertebrae and got a replacement out of titan. Afterwards he wasn't able to walk and was in a wheelchair for a few months while trying to learn to walk again.
At the moment he is able to walk again without walkingcanes when walls are near to aid his balance.
Your story from your relative just brought me to tears, and made me shake.
I totally can relate to the fact that it removes the floor under your feet if something like that happens.
Thank you for sharing your story doc.
In love, a big fan of yours
I love how chaotic hermitcraft has gotten in the past few weeks loool.
Im pretty sure if Docm77 was a scientist IRL he and the hivemind would have made the deathstar and built the entire Empire fleet just cause they got bored on a Sunday afternoon.
Realizing Doc has made pets of all 3 Boss Mobs within the perimeter is pretty wild.
I love how Doc has this whole persona of being the most intimidating man on the server. And then the only thing he truly fears...is Mumbo's silly button machine.
I loved hearing about your own experiences with people with disabilities in your family, and how they didn't let that stop them from doing what they wanted to do! I also really liked the Wither build, the size and explosion of glass makes it feel dynamic and menacing!
I just thought how cool it would be if Doc add chains to this large wither building, like if the beast is chained but struggles to free itself. Imagine how ominous it would look!
We actually did that on our realm. The chains are a bit small because we used the chain items. May go back and build bigger custom chains
The wholesome stuff in this video is one of the reasons I love Hermitcraft, and Doc specifically. Even though he's busy trolling Scar for the tunnel bore, he still stops to help with Scar's storage system, ref a TCG match, and even buys merch. 🤣🤣 Keep being your classy self, Doc.
If I was grian or scar, I would be so scared, this guy has the Ender dragon as a pet, uses wither as a slave to make concrete, Used wardens like a tail for his tunnel machine... Literally all 3 bosses in minecraft work for docm and he uses them as pets, slaves, prisoners. Just incredible.
I thought you'd only use the withers for some prank, and that'd be a short moment of fun, but you'll use it for farms too! That makes me very excited to see what's coming!
Have a happy weekend all.
What if you put some white and light blue glass on the wither so it looks like it's invincible and about to explode?
This is some peak doc content today, it looks so freaking good and the blast chamber is just so good
I like how doc has this mix of real life stories and minecraft gameplay that makes his videos way much more entertaining and at the same time gives us some good life lessons.
Oh and i suggest you expand the shattering at the roof of your universal exploding device because from the size of that wither the entire roof should look damaged
It is very impressive that you make videos in your second language! I'm learning Spanish right now, I can't imagine having the fluency to record videos. You did a great job correcting an honest mistake. Very glad I can enjoy your content!
It’s so strange having the intro music playing to the backdrop of Scarland!
Glad to see the horse curse is still there hahahaha
Thumbnail art is great as always. :)
Thanks to you giving us a peek behind the scenes, I can’t hear the intro without hearing your voice lol
I love the mindset in your videos! The way you go the extra mile to not just entertain, but also to mentor, has made you my favorite CZcamsr.
Lesson 1 of HermitCraft: Do not mess with the GOAT
I always love when scarland is at the start of the video
I'm just imagining (though Doc likely wont make it happen) the large wither structure shooting giant skulls made from many smaller skulls in the shape of the larger one. That would be awesome but also probably incredibly difficult.
woah
The Wither Reactor has the vibes of a mad scientist messing with an ancient dark magic that will absolutely bring destruction if someone made them mad or it got in the wrong hands, and I'm all for it.
Bdubs: sets up a crowd of angry protesters to prevent sales at Hot Guy Headquarters.
Doc: spends 2 stacks of diamonds.
Even though I couldn't watch on Friday, gotta love Fridays with Doc! I love the blast chamber. Listening to you take the criticism from a fan and then correct yourself makes me very happy and proud to be a part of this community. Another fantastic episode, Doc! Can't wait for next week!
Work - Done !
Cold beer - Check !
Doc vid - on time !
Weekend - started !
On the disability topic at the end, I appreciate it. A person isn’t by their nature “disabled”; they only become so when they lack access to the support they need. A person who can’t hear only becomes disabled when there isn’t captioning available or someone signing a speech. A person who cannot walk only becomes disabled when there isn’t a ramp to get into the building. In this model, disability is not an issue with the individual, but with society, and we all can help out with that by being mindful.
