Interesting to see the cul-de-sac homes get a makeover with great ideas to use on your own home. If I had to choose a favorite out of the lot, I'd say the cottage garden style was one I would choose over the others. Surprised to hear how much value was added to those houses. Excellent program.

#13 is my favorite. I like that style of garden and the colors. I didn't think I would be a fan of the dark colored house but it actually turned out really pretty. that is my 2nd favorite.

This was my dream . To renew three houses in a row , in a city neighborhood, that was in need of an uplift. Or rundown houses in otherwise poor but clean neighborhoods. Love what you are doing.
its like watching FRIENDS, its so fun to watch but alot more useful and has plenty of garden things to learn

Absolutely stunning transformations! I think the cottage garden looks fantastic, but I think if I were revamping my front garden I'd go for number 9. The whole look is modern and stunning.

Well done. Nine is my favourite. I like that new paint colour, the sandstone courtyard colour and texture and the stained timber posts and tropical garden. I also like 11’s small deck entry way. Unfortunately no birds as no natives planted at all in the garden.

These look awesome. I do think #11 could use a beefier pole to go with those beautiful steps. They should box it in like they did on the other one. The appreciation of value is great but we don't know how much was spent on each unit?

Wow. They're all great but I'm stunned by the transformation of Number 13. It has the feel of a Queenslander. I didn't think it was possible to turn these basic, budget looking buildings into homes that have such architectural style. Number 9 with the dark walls, timber posts and sandstone pato is striking. Number 11 needed a more to make it as transformed as the other two but the steps look great.

Why would you put wood frame on the ground? When it rains the wood would rott. But your make-overs are beautiful!

your outdoor area looks spectacular! Want to do something similar, but using inflatable daybeds from the fillup club.
What a lovely concept and show this was. Nr 13 looks and feels like a cosy charming home. But I dont know how any person can paint a house black(nr 9), it looks so depressing, even for a neighbour.
1) It makes other colors pop because it cuts glare/haze.
2) It emphasizes shape over texture.
3) It can hide (recess) a bad exterior...

Hey I am living in a group of responsible home owners who’d love to have the street appeal upgraded. We live in the middle of a small town opposite the school and close to IGA, chemist, hardware and medical centre. Personally I’d like to sell, pay out the mortgage and end my days in an on-site van with an annexe rather than an aged care facility. So give it some thought will you and accept the challenge you would be taking on.

Peach sometimes reads as flesh tone and can read badly.

With aluminium windows you can get frames for colonial windows and have them put a wood frames for the moment the top or get those stick out 1930 style LED light fan etched glass windows over that have the effect of double glazing

Flowers must be a lot less expensive in the UK compared to the US. Those would be very pricey (though lovely) makeovers here!
I believe this is Australia.
They're expensive here too. They mention not spending a fortune but that term is relative. The planting for Number 13 would be a couple of thousand dollars. Number 9 plants and turf would be around $700. I'd argue that the cost of the makeovers versus the improved property value makes it worth it.

13 is definitely the best cause it has some innate good bones to it to start with. But I think he went overboard with annuals. Most of them requires high maintenance.

At the 10:00 minute marker I started experiencing a bit of vertigo. I realized it was 15:54 the camera, which was slightly waving back a forth. Did anyone else feel that?
What is the Black colour called on the outside of the house ? What is the Pink colour on the front door called ?
too bad they don't spend more time showing the finished gardens, we can hardly see and enjoy the end result while they did a gorgeous job!
