This was the first episode of Jasmine Roth’s work that I saw years ago and instantly became a big time fan.
Not a fan of the dining area in the front yard. I doubt it will ever be used. They have a perfectly nice backyard that is right next to their kitchen. Much more private and more likely to be used. Love the island concept though. If I could make one change to it, I would cover up the reveal (lots of little pinched fingers in the future) and add a lock to prevent it from moving (again, pinched fingers.)
I’m emotionally drained says the hubs…funny! I loved the pantry door so cool.
What I like is the design includes comfort. Looks like it can be lived in not just admired.
Great project! I love how open it feels now, after the reno. And what a beautiful couple!

Lamps over the island are too high up, the island is lovely. The old parts of the wall in the frame is gorgeous

Such a great transformation! We'll Done ❣️ Only thing I would do in front yard would be to add fairy lights and a gate/door prior to the wee ones' arrival for safety purposes

Shame man, hes emotionally drained... Suspect hes trying to absorb the changes and make peace with the changes. He grew up in this house and it will be too much to take to lose all those memories.

YOU ARE A GOOD DESIGNER BUT SHOULD MINIMIZE DECORATION. IT MAKES EVERYTHING CLOUDED. IT IS GOOD TO SEE IT SIMPLE
That distressed door was an eye sore. Did not go well with.... I guess... Anything in the house.
Not my cup of tea either, but some people seem to like it. (I grew up during a time when "old/distressed" was all people actually had, so it's hard for me to get used to in a modern space like this).

I adore the door. As a professional organizer, the storage in the pantry was definitely not maximized though.

The warm tone yellow door on cool tone gray really clash and look terrible 🤢 the white paint on the outside looked competley good before...

I agree. Looking forward to when grey falls out of favor. I despise it and would have to repaint/replace it in any house I chose, even if it was brand new.

I don't care for the concept or the installation of the front yard.
Nothing is "awesome" about the way this crew conducted demolition. It was wasteful. The kitchen sink and some other elements could have easily been repurposed elsewhere, but you first have to care about resources. Obviously this build firm doesn't have that kind of awareness.

He opens with this is the house he grew up in, but it needs a reno because it’s not suitable for kids. 🤡 I can’t with these shows.
