He clearly felt Burke would offer more of a physical threat than Koji. Unfortunately that tactic didn’t work either. Just one of those games where we didn’t have enough quality to win. It’s been the same story over the last few months regardless of the starting 11

I was gobsmacked when I saw Burke's name on the team sheet and Miyoshi on the bench. I mean the guy has done nothing all season and then he's put in for one of the most vital games of the season. Words fail me.
Snap. It was unbelievable I thought he was injured or has been for the last few weeks or so. Gary realised his mistake and subbed him for Myoshi at half time.

Total lack of urgency, composure, quality - no sugar coating that all the good things we showed against Coventry just weren’t there in that performance.

Burke was not the ultimate factor but it was worrying to think Rowett thought he was worthy of a start. Gives you no confidence in Rowett.

That took me back to the day in 08 in the Prem when we drew with that awful Derby side that were rock bottom and losing week in week out. I knew after that game we were going down. I have exactly the same feeling after this. Awful performance, awful management picking Burke, brainless from Buchanan for the offside goal, no need to run anywhere near the keeper & a simply diabolical miss from Miyoshi.

Why start Burke 🙈
It is all to easy to criticise a team that clearly is low on confidence , struggling to find the answers in crucial moments ,and unable to impose themselves on the opposition , it's been a calamitous season of our own making, now only the players can rescue the situation , ironical the gaffer that bizarrely was sacked when things were actually looking promising can do us a massive favour and beat the owls Sunday, at least then survival is in our own hands KRO.💙
Rowett must be as frustrated as us Blues. Too much ask for back to back wins. The performance was expected .
Think that’s relegated us today. You have to expect Wednesday will pick up points from their remaining fixtures and I have no doubts we’ll find a way to loose next week. Probably beat Norwich on the final day but it won’t be enough. Today was a must win. Simple as that. The decision to start Burke was baffling with myoshi, Bacuna, James and dembelle all sitting on the bench.

You don't have to expect anything. Nature of the Championship football. Huddersfield was really poor and Sheffield Wed has difficult fixtures to get through. We will see...

When Rotherham change their manager in the week and Keith Stroud was the referee then a point gained in someways. Should have kept a winning side and Burke wasn’t worth the gamble like last week as Anderson and Robert’s have played some good games. Just puts more pressure on the Huddersfield result now and hope Sheffield Wednesday drop points

We played with no pace first half , passing at times was awful . Second half wasnt much better and like others have said,why play burke ?
Rowett said we're caught in between with one set of players that can do one part of the game well and one set who can do the other part. Struggling to see players that can do either part well.

Shame we couldn't kick on from last week's performance. It's just not happening with this lot. Roll on next season with hopefully capable players. I would only pick a handful of these lot for next. They really need to turn up next week and hope for the best 2mo.

Terrible recruitment over the past few years (excluding loans of Stanno, Hannibal and Trusty). If we go down, the first thing we should do is get a technical director who knows what he’s doing.

Garry we needed to do a LOT more. For at least 45 minutes we knew Huddersfield were well beaten which meant if we lost the game it wouldn’t make a massive difference. We could’ve attacked without fear. Rotherham weren’t the weakest team in the league today, we were. Embarrassing!

The only reason I wouldn't have started Burke is because he isn't match fit, he had pace and created space but his final delivery was off, we shouldn't single him out, that decision was down to G.Rowett.
That said, overall not great at all. I will be honest, it was boring as hell and I fell asleep so missed the Stansfield disallowed goal.
Final point, no I wouldn't be happy wth back to back draws mid season, and it's not mid season so what's your point, poor, very poor and you know it, just own it and stop making ridiculous half defences.

A truly crap result against a team that's won 2 in 30 games. If BCFC do survive then Rowett hasn't done himself any favours of staying.
