At this point, I feel like they’re just throwing labels around hoping that it will justify what they’re doing. I could understand if it was a platonic relationship and they were all just supporting each other as a family of friends, but the guy is behaving in a way that I find to be odd. I definitely feel like there are sexual intentions on his end. The sister who he was hugging seemed a bit bothered by the contact while the other sister seemed like she wanted to swap places lol. I also agree 100 percent they won't meet my child until after a long while. The fact that he’s yelling at Emma and near her is a massive red flag. Yelling near and at kids on the spectrum can overstimulated and overwhelm them, which can cause meltdowns. He’s extremely impatient with her and is treating her like she’s stupid. When someone on the spectrum is having a hard time understanding what’s happening or what to do, you don’t get aggressive with them and yell, you need to take time to help them understand.
Also I think he might be on the spectrum because he’s very blunt and doesn’t know how to communicate in a way that’s nicer? Idk how to describe it and I’m not a professional lol so take that last sentence with a grain of salt. Me and a lot of my family is autistic and my mom used to take care of kids on the spectrum as a job so idk

Edit: Since some people are still confused, you can be asexual and not have s*xual attraction while being romantically attracted to multiple genders. That would be biromantic, panromantic, or whatever the preferred label of that spectrum is. Romantic and s*xual spectrums can be different. That said, it is possible he means that he's on one spectrum romantically (probably biromantic) and on a different one s*xually. (Likely meaning he's asexual)

This thouple is incredibly alarming, and not for the reasons that they think. That guy genuinely activated my flight or fight response. Those women are not safe around him. If he gets that angry at a random stranger in a Walmart, I shudder to think how he treats those women or Emma if he gets pissed off at home. Very explosive anger. Also, he is clearly CONSTANTLY pushing boundaries. As an ace, if they have the same understanding of that word as I do... That guy is CLEARLY pushing it. I love my boyfriend more than anything, and him and I have an understanding that some days I'm not as touchy feely as others. As someone who wants to get tested for autism, EVERYTHING I've ever researched has taught me that that is the absolute opposite of how you should treat them. Even without my research, nobody should be talking to a child like that, and it's obvious this man has no respect for her as an individual. Emma deserves so much better than a father-figure like that piece of shit, and it's extremely upsetting that the mother and aunt are normalized to that behaviour. My thinking is that they must not have any clue what autism is or what accommodations it requires, because they seem to treat her in the same ableistic way that "general" society treats them, and the goofy "🤪 I don't know how to help! It's too much work!". At least on video. Also, something to worry over, if that creep is willing to push the boundaries of an able, older woman who is able to verbally protect herself, I really, really fear how he might treat the daughter. I absolutely do not think she is safe in that house, even if it's "only" verbal abuse. She deserves so much better and my heart hurts for her. Part of me wishes the guy who conceived her might see those videos and step up, but obviously that's like looking for a unicorn.
All in all, thise "family" makes me feel sick to my stomach, and I really think all of those women need to GET AWAY from that creepazoid. Thank you for your compassion for Emma. Both my children are on the spectrum, and I would NEVER let someone like this be in our lives. Clearly, they are angry people who came out swinging on social media to create more drama in their lives.
