So as an interpreter she has already a good standing, although her timbre and her repertoire of manners sounds uncomfortable for me after the third song. For the next step she would need great own songs - that's the point where most of young artists in our days fail. I wish her luck and I see a lot of potential in her. But it will be hard work.

I first just gave a thumbs up because I finally found a cover of this song done by a girl and she says "her" instead of "him". Changing the "him" to "her" just because of the gender of the singer just kinda bugged me. But now I love her voice too. It's so strong

the song still works in his fashion, it's just the woman singing from a third person perspective, so to say. an example, she was left by the man and she's now singing about it from an outside perspective, objectively.
Or she could be singing about a lover who is also a girl. You know, like, lesbians and shit.

Bleh I don't know if I love it or hate it. Her voice is so unique at first listen you're not sure what to think of it. But after it's finished she's all you can think about. Love/hate relationship only because I love the rasp she has, but I love the tenderness of the original.
