Shouldn’t be hard to believe she was extremely blessed with rare skills and magnificent talent. To have written this in her mid twenties isn’t so surprising seeing as though she was writing just as in-depth songs prior to this. This was the first stage of her 20s prime,she was very much a efficient vocalist and advanced writer by that point.

I lost my dad in 1992 the year this Album was released. That year me, my mom and my nephew laid under the Christmas tree and listened to this song over and over again. I still listen to every year and cry when I hear it. They are tears of joy and sadness. The whole album was phenomenal. She should be Queen of Christmas!

This is by far my all time favourite Mariah song. Someone bought her Christmas Album for me when it was first released in 1994 and I fell in love with this track straight away. Such an underrated song. Should be right up there with All I want for Christmas is you.
